The performance per dollar of the of the 330i seems like a better value at $50-$55k. However, I really Iike the MB interior and tech, especially on the 2023 C43 (Joe, can you please review the AMG).
C300 is trash. Give it 1 to 2 years and you lose 40 to 60 of the value. Do not buy one. Love the door light. I helped my neighbors daughters put one on her door. $15 for 4 lights. MB uses it for selling point. Lol

All cars need a 12 o clock steering wheel stripe it'll help save lives when the car snap oversteers to catch the slide. I had 2 nissan muranos and even they went sideways when I went 2 tires on dirt on a turn so I really mean all cars
Mercedes needs to offer a non shiny interior option because some people drive 12 hours a day and the sun bounces off the shiny panels even the gloss black parts. McLaren race cars have no shiny stuff in the interior to remove any inch of shininess. Alcantara dashboard no sun glare and entire interior is anti glare and comfortable for people who drive long distance

I thought you were going to say the competitors were BMW 3 series and Audi A4. In my area, people only cross shop among the 3 German brands. Genesis is cross shopped against Acura, Lexus and Infiniti.
Too be completely honest my biggest issue with the new gen Mercedes’ is they all look the same now like each used to have their own flair but not anymore

Watch at how Joe hits the menu bezel at 12:46 on the center stack. The entire housing depresses. This car is all flash and no substance. If I’m paying premium, the interior bits better fit well together.
Would like to see the AMG option on the c300 reviewed as well just to see if you notice much of a difference. This base model is too plain to me.

Having owned both Mercedes and BMW…BMW is more bang for your buck. Nowadays you're just paying for the Mercedes brand. 55k+ and you're getting fake air vents, fake exhaust, unimaginative rear end, and an interior that doesn't know what it wants to be a Tesla, Audi, or a rave party with all that ambient lighting. Been wanting to love the new Mercedes but this is not it.
57k and no connections in back seat is unacceptable. They need to add more items as standard features instead of making you pay extra for basic features. Right now the 300 is the only model & planned next step up is going to be a 400hp C43.

IMO this falls short, especially for the price. Volvo and Audi have nicer interiors. BMW has the better balance of dynamic handling and luxury. Genesis and Lexus offer a better value. And Alfa Romeo is still the best driving car in the segment. The only car more expensive than this is a fully decked out Audi A4, but with the better interior and Dynamic Handling package it's much more worth it than the Mercedes's current offering. This will still sell like hotcakes because of badge snobs, but as a daily driver I'd rather spend my money on the Bavarians or Italians.

I wasn't a fan of this style interior when the new W223 S Class debuted but funny enough it seems to work very well in the C Class. All of the compact luxury cars from Germany, Japan or the US are great cars. You can't make a bad choice.

I have leased 3 C classes since: 2012, 2015 and 2017 and all three of my previous had better looking leather pattern on the seats. The new seat design is nice but the pattern stitch looks poor and bland.
I had the previous model. And i wanted a touch screen.Now that I have it in my BMW .I still uses the control knob .I am germaphobe and I hate prints on the screen

Another superb video! The C300 is a major disappointment – life long MB owner – I have owned 12 since 1980, the first one W123 which is STILL running fine today (240D) and my darling. 42 years old, 300,000+ miles, the metal is still shiny, interior has been restored, gear box still ok, and can be driven daily.
Mercedes interiors, quality and luxury has gone down. They are so confused and getting killed by Tesla in the C class segment The only 3 Mercedes I would own today are: G63 AMG, SL55 (new one just launched) and the Maybachs. Everything else is not worth the penny. Unfortunately, all the desired ones are in $200k range. So I can afford just one & choose the G63.
