I have a 2021 Nissan Rogue platinum, and it has many of these features but I remind myself I am not driving on rail tracks so I don't even consider these features. The smart cruise control is about the only thing I semi-rely on
I also wonder with all the driver assists if eventually they will use EV’s to just capture us. Imagine you’re on your way to work, school, friends house and your car child-locks all doors, rolls up some nifty and “for your convenience” zero light sun shades, and starts driving you to [court][prison][hospital][off a cliff][into a furnace][to the bottom of a lake][using jet thrusters, to mars]…sweet dreams. ☺️
Well, then we should all buy Teslas with Full Self Driving. The statistics are that they get in only 1 in 12 accidents compared to the same amount of miles driven of gas cars. They are also the safest thing to be in if there is an accident. The reason that everybody wants bigger and bigger vehicles is they feel safer if they are in the heavier vehicle. Now everybody will want an electric car.
This video makes me want to avoid roads and highways altogether.

Heavier vehicles are safer in snow/rain. Kia and Hyundai vehicles use hydrogen batteries which are far lighter than lithium batteries. So there is not significant gain in weight–perhaps 100-300lbs.
Remember when cell phone batteries would catch on fire? The damaged they caused with the extreme heat they produced? Now imagine a battery 1000 times larger going up in flames
Seen a video of an electronic car get side swiped by a gas powered car both traveling in the same direction. The electronic car didn't even budge on the road and kept straight as the gas powered car lifted, passenger side up in the air and flipped on its side like a toy car! The electronic car kept going like nothing happened!
Why did you say "the last Hummer 3" and it's weight at "a tad over 5,000 pounds". This is obviously biast. You know what we want to hear, and it's the actual weight of the vehicle and we'd like you to referr to the heaviest of model, not the most recent.

EV's are over !! And are old hat none sense ! They are dangerously flammable and look ridiculous and are nothing more than old fantasy. If the states, and the feds, can't make money off the taxes imposed on gasoline and oil products how much do you think it will cost you to register that old (EV) !!?…. $5000, $10,000, or even $20,000.00 a year !? Yep !!
