These POS KIA 2.5L (or 2.5 Turbo) engine leave A LOT of forbidden glitter (bearing material) inside the oil filter. I see this on a daily basis working as a tech for a KIA dealership. STAY AWAY for KIA/Hyundai. They ALL BURN oil and coolant brand new.
The owner of that BMW is at risk of getting a ticket because in NY, you’re supposed to have the registration and inspections stickers horizontally. He has them vertically.

They will never honor this engine warranty , will find a way to avoid it or pull strings till you are out of warranty,
I have a 1994 BMW 740iL with 220,000 miles that runs great. Its not to hard to work on that old BMW and im enjoying it. Fun car. Great fuel economy for a v8. Especially on the highway, my commute to work is 90 miles everyday with 87 miles of that being i40.
I leased a 2017 ford fusion and returned it at 22k miles and brakes were shot along with the tires door was starting to sag so the bushings were going out i wouldnt ever own a ford ever again😊

Scotty is right about the extra warrant. When you have the automatic, it needs warranty. Only the manual is reliable.

US kias seem to be built very poorly. In the UK they are very reliable and dont have these engine issues. They also have a 7 year 100,000 mile warranty which is genuinely great. Sportage is known as a reliable and great value car

If you buy a used Bimmer make sure it has a good service history. The manufacturer suggested oil change intervals on these things are way too high. I recommend buying these from someone you know has been proactive with the oil changes
Wow had to change breaks 2 times in 25k miles!!! That is horrible! My explorer has 60k and i just had to chamge its rear breaks last month for the first time. But the front ones are still going strong.

I am on my 5th hyundai. 16 elantra,18 sonata 20 sonata,22kona n line and now a 24 tucson. I have loved them all. No major problems. One replaced phone charger and one door handle lock sensor. Just oil changes. They have been great cars and the dealership has gone out of their way for me.

Toyota's aren't that much better to justify the inflated price of their vehicles. Honda's Golden days are long past. I buy Kia's and Mazda's. Very satisfied with reliability and bang for the buck.
