Are you nuts $50.00 is a bargain. Bet you will spend 20 hours
My dilemma. I'm restoring 4 1969 era K 20s, 2 in their natural patina. One is a Dept. of Public Works truck in its beautiful orange that pushed snow for 50 years; the other is light green 503 my favorite patina. I'm fixing the rust but want to save every inch of the natural patina as possible. The challenge is fixing them and leaving them as original in patina as possible but that leaves me two choices both suck. Leave the bodywork exposed or try to match the patina. Your metalwork is super but have you ever experimented with patina? They were only new once and aged with battle scars and character which is fine but the cancer that kills them gotta go. I'm looking forward to a show maybe on a repair in which you get the color to look as it would if it wasn't repaired. thanks. Really enjoy your stuff. Frank from NY.
Great job. Thank you.
All you naysayers, he's trying to teach you something. He didnt say it was the best way, or the most feasible, just an alternative. Suppose it was an unobtainable part and you have to use what you have
She is so beautiful! I love you're work! Thankyou
not realy a lot wrong with the door you repair if thats all you have failing that get second hand one as they not hard to come by
What is this tool called at 23:52
Your videos are the best ! Thanks !!
Impossible repair? Hold my coffee, I've got this
One way of doing it , lot of extra work removing the door skin
a old guy did a similar door repair using some crude methods
put Cherry bombs and M 80's inside secured metal on the outside blew the dent out
finished with inner tubes forcing up the remainder of damage up and a slap file
found some metal wit the same shape to complete the repair
Bro….time to replace the Jacket!!!😜🤪😝
Kyle, what happened to your channel when I wasn't watching for a moment? A video with almost a million views? What did you do? Show cats only?
J'ai beaucoup aimé ta veste. Surtout ne t'avise pas à la restaurer.😊😊
Must have been $50.00 US……….
Totally understandable!
First timer. You can’t fool an old fool. The location and type of damage to your Town Coat tells me you are a master.
Amazing skill and tenacity…and insanity! Love it
That high speed left-handed slapper you built is impressive. You really should take responsibility for making such tools instead of blaming them on society. Do you suppose you could make a right handed version of the slapping spoon?
I half expected you to step on it at first…
Thank you for showing this. Have a project that I’ve barely started and this is coming at some point.
You are blessed with a lot of talent, Kyle. I like your homebuilt tools. Now to find the rest of the project's videos. THANKS. I have learned from watching you work.
Been there done that before,2 many times too count, you can fix anything with time
Was that an old shrinking file I just saw?
You’re funny. Don’t go joe Pesci on me. I mean you make laugh 😆 “stretch it to appease the people who don’t want you to chop it!”😂
"Were not going to chop off anything because of the people getting annoyed."
I go: ok?
"But we are going to make the thing opposite of chopping as were lifting the roof to make those folks even more annoyed."
I go: Oh what on Earth, good grief I've never seen anything more ridiculous in my life but kinda like it anyways so please do it!
Aand once again everyone go; "How did that guy do something even crazier again?" Love it!!! 😂
I like your jacket it’s real custom
Carter I don’t care if it takes 20 hours as someone suggested if you fix it you will be able to fix the next one. In my opinion you are the man. Piss on the negative comments of those guys they probably don’t know how to open a a door little lone fixing one.
You had the wife rolling with your "…greedy bugger…." comment. Classic.
When I was in high school a friend got an early 70's Toyota Cellica that had been rolled on a sandy hill, so not super bad but…. he was fixing it for himself so, he didn't care and ended up using about 10 gallons of Bondo on the roof alone. He painted the car and had it looking pretty good. Long story short, he ended up selling it, the new owners rear ended someone and this 10 gallon hunk of Bondo broke loose and slid onto the hood! Ooops!
$50 all day
I agree that fifty bucks and a pack of smokes was WAY TOO MUCH!! Think of how much fun you would have missed out on!
The communist brake. 😂 Dino Australia
It's called dry humor. What happened to that nail on the right index Finger.?
It’s society’s fault. I concur.
Awesome 👍 job well done that is Skil and a big Shout to you. Did you show whoever told that it can't be fixed ?
I spend all my free time beating and banging on a old rusty truck , just to drive my wife nuts.
