Pickups not made for two lane roads???
Cyber truck is for people with more money than brain.
It looks like it was designed by a group of 20 year old kids.
The only source of bias I found in this review was from the haters in the comments section.
You are totally reinforcing why I stopped reading your rag 30 years ago. You are the CNN of car reviews. It isn’t a truck, it’s a gimmick. No sane person who uses a truck for truck stuff would buy an ev truck. Drop 6,000lbs behind it and lemme know how many days it takes to drive 1,000 miles IF you can find a charger that is not diesel powered.
Jason Cammisa Junior?
Wow!Teslas last vehicle and Car and Driver’s last review.
Why doesn’t Car and Driver run a Poll, asking truck owners what they want in a Truck?
Would they publish the results?
$120k? I lost interest after that.
The novelty of the Cybertruck is fading quickly. After that is totally gone, what is left?
welcome to "fanboy fan-notes"
Careful what you ask for this is the USoA where any crazy can get gun and just shoot you.
FULGY and useless as a truck.
What happened to the honest call BS plus and minus car and driver of before 😞
"We Driv it" lol 0:35
lol this is exactly what I expected from this video, by Car and Driver.
This is the worst review I have ever seen by Car and Driver. Dude, just say you are an Elon fanboy and get it over with. Absolutely ridiculous.
It’s ugly as hell, nobody needs it, it’s a gimmick, solves no problem and don’t get me started about build quality and safety.
You can't hear the screams of the children as you accelerate to 120 mph in front of a school during drop off time because you have to show those babies how a real man drives a real truck.
This aged well ..😅! Firstly, I will never waste my time watching another "Car and Driver" presentation or reading their magazine. This was TOTAL B.S. and obviously the glowing review was bought & paid for!
When literally every other YouTube channel that is reviewing the cybertrck says that it's a nightmare and a total piece of crap… This genius behind the wheel totally lied.
Bragging on the "electronic whoopee cushion" … I have no words. Oh, but let's watch YouTube or pay games while we are supposed to be doing something else. What, you say? Well, DRIVING for one thing. Paying attention to the road?
"Polarizing", "Spacey", you mean "Planned by a 5yr old".
These would be sabotaged if they ever were legal outside USA,
where the Pedestrians have no rights, only Gun-owners & Unborn Fetuses do.
Way better review than I expected from C&D, thanks. I like the CT a lot, but will wait for the range to improve and the cost to come down. Enjoying a model X in the meantime with air suspension, ventilated seats, the rear screen, longer range, and nobody paying any attention to it.
does it ship with white canes to give to the people you blind while night driving ?
The reason the truck looks like it does is because the steel is so tough, there's no press on Earth that can bend it. That's why everything is flat and straight. Function over form for work vehicle. Who gives a fuck what it looks like. It outperforms any truck I've ever owned in all categories. I can't believe all the hate on this thread. Humans are so closed minded. It's different, I hate it. whaaaa whaaaa whaaa
I saw one of these pulling up behind me at a stop today, and all I thought was "I hope they fixed the accelerator problem…"
A couple of days ago here in flyover country I saw in a museum parking lot a Cybertruck for the first time. My reaction — It’s no less ugly than it is in YouTube videos.
A vehicle for dumb Millennial hipsters. An answer to a question no one asked.
No matter how good it is, a large screen is dangerous. A complex distraction envisioned by rocket engineers.
If Armageddon were imminent, and you could only choose one vehicle, this is the one the most knowledgeable people would choose and it wouldn't even be close. It's the most versatile, utilitarian, all-in-one vehicle ever built. It's a sports car, a truck, a family car and a sound studio all rolled into one. It's also something you can sleep in and if you said you were living in your car and this was your car, people would not feel sorry for you. Also, don't forget the fact that it's the first "steer-by-wire" production car as well as the first 48 Volt system. Then when you power goes out, it has the equivalent of 10 Powerwalls to power your home. That's $93,00 worth of Powerwalls in this vehicle! I get that most people are uncomfortable with change, but in order to remain relevant you must evolve.
Don't most cars stop pistol ammo?
What does Tesla have on you? Are you being blackmailed? Do they have your family? You can tell us. Don’t let them intimidate you. 😏
Great review! I live in LA and see a few every day… there are a lot of DB attention seekers around! I like that Tesla is doing something different. I would love to have a Tesla but I cannot support the CEO's superiority complex, alignments, and political validation seeking!
Car and Driver trying to hate the truck as much as they possibly can. They are sponsored by traditional car companies who advertise in their magazine. This review is about 6 months late to the game.
Elon LITERALLY said that he “invented” the cyber truck because his 5 year old son asked why automobiles look more futuristic. That’s one hell of a reason to “invent” a “truck.” At first I was fascinated. Unfortunately the more Elon opens his mouth the more I dislike him. Something about him being anti union & anti worker that paints him as a very bad person.
Elon Musk literally invented the cyber truck because his son asked him why automobiles don’t look more futuristic… That’s one hell of a reason to make a “truck.” Thanks. But no thanks.
