It's kind of funny comparing a GT3 to a convertible z06. I mean the vette has to have around a ton of just luxuries on it? Then there is price tag and honestly you don't want to drive a gt3 everyday where as the zo6 is not only a great track car but a wonderful daily driver. Its just a weird comparison to me

Top gear is bias to European cars , this corvette is the luxury ride, wait for the ZR1, remember this is a damn convertible not a damn coupe. This is a sports car capable of kicking most European so called cars supercar that live in the damn dealership most of the time.

Welp I did some research into the downforce debate between the z07 package and the GT3 RS….and yea, he's right. Even with the z07 package it only produces HALF the downforce that a GT3 RS produces at a mean rate of 170mph. Both awesome cars, but on fast tracks like Nurburgring, the GT3 RS will still hold the fast corners better. Not surprising considering the cost. That being said…the z07 may beat it on lap time due to power advantage.
Is it just me, or did every Porsche 911 fan fail Physics class? I have driven the Porsche. It is too tail heavy. I would take the 458. Ferraris are lightweight and nimble. The engine is where it should be, right behind your kidneys. Chevy is headed in the right direction, now their goal should be to shed 300-400 lbs from their car.

This comparison is smelling like "PERFORMANCE" comparison by a popular publication many years ago where they compared C5 Z06, E46 M3, and Boxster. They came to a conclusion that M3 wins because it had back seats despite the Z06 winning 1st in every performance measurement in a damn performance comparison
Need to do a lap battle with a GT3 with PDK, not a manual, PDK version is going to be noticably faster.
I haven't watched Top Gear since they 'transitioned' — and man is this generic and soulless. Plus you knew the entire time what he was going to say about each car – not a laugh or non-scripted line in 20 minutes. Very dull. Reminds me of one of those bad local Top Gear shows.
Chris Harris would have done a much better job and wouldn't be afraid to say it as it is, that the Corvette is a much better all rounded car. The same way he did with the BMW M5 vs the Lexus GS F-Sport.

In all of the reviews, I havent seen a single person use Track mode in the Z06. In this, he was in sport. I have a 2023 Z06 (with Z07) and the difference between the throttle and gear shifts is insane, its so much quicker and more responsive.
