It's a chevy, nuff said. Why bother AI with this nonsense?
Fear of AI? Bruh u ever talk on the phone with AI?🤣
Well said..I tried AI to give instructions to adjust the forward-reverse selector on a specific marine gearbox…no joy..then I had an argument with Chat GBT about it's source of intelligence…
Several years ago, I bought a 2003 Mountaineer with a clogged converter. After solving the converter issue, I still had a bad vacuum leak and couldn't keep it running at idle. There was a guy I worked with who smoked, and I told him I'd buy him a pack of cigarettes, but I needed him to help me find my vacuum leak. He was like, sure, but I don't know anything about cars. I said, I literally just need you to blow smoke into a tube. So he did, and it turned out the the clogged cat had caused the hot exhaust gasses to be pushed through the EGR valve and they melted a half inch hole in the plenum. I took the plenum off that night and used JB Weld to fix it. I planned on it being a temporary fix, but it was still sealed when I junked it six years later. Smoke machines are awesome, but a friend who smokes will also work. 😁
So essentially, we are going to get mechanic shops that are related to McDonnalds in the future. I mean why pay a fast, knowledgeable chef when everybody is eating the same thing. Essentially what most mechanic shops are already doing using ProDemand and such. Heck if cars can be assembled why can’t we make algorithms to repair. We do need get our hands away from those hydrocarbons
Ai chatbots are a tool, not a job thief for blue collar work.
Its just telling you what any other online diagnostic manual would tell you
I can’t stand the new cars with all their computer gadgetry… I will stick with the old cars, ignition points, and three electrical wires. Yes I like carburetors…
PCV stands for Piece O’Crap Valve from Korea! Don’t be fooled mate! Enuff said!
Forgot to de-burr the exhaust cuts..
I could condense this video so that it would be interesting , to the point without wanting to leave.
AI is ONLY as good as the programmer who understands what the problem is.
i have been telling people as a IT guy AI is no where near the level to take peoples jobs.
Been wondering if a combination of microphones and vibration sensors could constantly monitor and learn to distinguish nominal data from abnormal and over mass data collection learn to pinpoint exact types and areas on specific components of drivetrain.
Me lmao at people fearing AI 😂
Not to get in your A-I fun and objective mechanics but , remove the light 😂 lol
Dam really got to rethink if I should be a mechanic. Like I can't understand anything that happened this whole video with the sensor things 🙁 Wish I was good at this type of stuff but maybe I'm meant to do something else. Just not sure what and working with car feels like the only thing I can do where I earn pretty good money.
I'm sick of hearing about AI 🙂 Its just another "Smart" Fad, remember when everything was "Smart" (Basically meaning it had AI making it Smart and could do all these cool new things) I would greatly welcome an AI bot that could turn wrenches in my place while I sat back and watched 😆 Great Video. I will make a learning Video about car repair AI myself. 😎👍
Any reason why you didn't replace the intake manifold as well? I've seen where that little orange diaphram in the intake fails, causing the PCV to fail. Nice work on the exhaust flex pipe
When chatGPT gets access to the DDTSB database, it will do much better.
Now ask it to find an intermediate parasitic drain
Hi everyone
Good job done by YouTuber , as far as I concerned this is not fully fixed , if I were u I d replace intake manifold n pcv tube too, deleted catalic mechanically n remapped the the engine
1:17 my prediagnoses is any time you see a fuel to lean code it leads you to a bad O2 sensor, the P0420 might mean their is an exhaust leak or a clogged catalytic converter, and the air intake code is a vacuum leak or Mass air flow sensor fault . I'm stating my prognosis before watching what the AI came up with.
3 cyl under 1000 cc turbo charged then its from the key class of low emission engines japan
Although AI may be able to generally diagnose a problem but we still have to do the work! I don’t think anyone should depend on the technology. Check and verify
You need to redo this video cause its way smarter now!
chat gpt is not good at programming. it doesn't understand the context of why something is done some way and not another. it's good as a research assistant, but even then, it's wrong half the time. lately it's even stubborn with its wrong answers.
Your artificial intelligence envy is obvious. What, your momma didn't coddle you enough when you were born? Everyone knows AI is going to take over everything. Adjust.
fuel trim will take a while to adjust, i wouldn't worry.
With bitter experience of 2 comebacks on those engines after a valve cover change (both of wich blew the PCV diaphragms on the brand new valve covers), I learned that it is IMPERATIVE to change the intake manifold whenever you change the valve cover. The reason being that the check valve in the manifold stops sealing properly and blows the diaphragm in short order.
i swear if the brand of the computer is sky net we are in trouble~
The only things a computer Chat GPT knows is what a person told it. Garbage in, Garbage out.
Never trust Chat GPT. It's just a talking bot, it will lie as confidently as it can and say the most insane stuff – that's what it was designed for, not for information, but to talk.
I work on/in and under bowling machines, the pay is very minimal, but there is just NO WAY a robot could take my job.
The coolant reservoir was changed also and that new one has an over fill tube, the original reservoir for that engine does not have that
P.C.V=Designed vacuum leak. ~information is always helpful no matter what source it was generated from, as long as you apply it correctly.
I really enjoy every single one of your videos, but this one had me laughing the hardest for sure.
To be honest , all this info is on the web already .
AI is the modern-day snake oil ploy. Just buzzword bait for rubes.
But google cab give ubthe same answers? Just this gives it to you without scrilling through google results.
