LMAO I store my two boat batteries on a concrete ledge in my basement…I never charge them….they always start
Love learning a helpful new tip. Will this work with all cars?
Concrete will not kill a battery.
This was once kinda true when battery cases were wood or very porous rubber.
Today's batteries are case in plastic or very hard rubber. And this is no longer a problem.
Heat and extreme cold is a battery's worst enemy.
(You don’t have to do this but) change your HOLE beetle in to Herbie the love bug! (Race car 53)
Easy there buckie, pull to hard and you might flip that toy car over
He's lying 😮😮I went to Gould battery factory ,,concrete will not drain your battery ,that's for fools !!!😮😮
the battery on the concrete is a tall tail. that will not drain the battery
Before the internet my uncle would use his sock. 1970.
Concrete thing is a myth 🥴
I have a 72 super almost exactly like that but it’s yellow with an 1835 thick wall four speed manual
Negative. Leaving your battery on the concrete did not drain it.
That's the only way I could start my 1961 VW Bug.
Your battery is done, that concrete thing is a myth.
Somehow 18k people found it somehow helpful to dislike this video..
Only VW I detest is the beetle
Actually this way of starting an engine it works but it is a bit dangerous.
It is absolutely impossible for concrete to drain a battery.
You take A3H drive ratchet and rotate it. That way cause you use that rope in that thing fires up. They'll suck your hand in ensure your fingers up that's pretty stupid.
That battery has to be 6 volt and old as crap, today's battery will not i repeat will not drain energy if left on the concrete, it's been a wives tale for 50 years
Pretty sure every garage floor where cars are parked is concrete
Use drill
Why do these cars have 1" tail pipes
Bro just push the car
The ol mystical battery drainage of the concrete lol
Be a normal white guy , buy a jump box😂
Old men are wise
Hot start
wrapping the strap on the hand is a BIG BlG NO NO. Safety 1st. Then start with the basics. Like maybe check for acid buildup or frayed cables and go from there.
Concrete does not drain batteries anymore. Myth
Or do lime I would with my 68 and push start it.
Concrete won’t drain batteries
Lying for content
Doesn't work with a cold engine either
Also can nock ur belt off
I was taught this in late 80’s. Good to see it still in play!
It's a generator, NOT an alternator. Is this supposed to he helpful? What is a moron gonna do with this golden nugget of knowledge, come up with a novel vaccine or something profound?
