What about Honda?
You speak to fast and you should have put a list on the screen
I’m very lucky, my lifestyle doesn’t put many miles on my 19 Cruze. I’m averaging about 19.6 a day in the last seven months. I’m certainly hoping it doesn’t change much.
Those numbers seem really low or don't include standard maintenance like brakes and tires
I drive a '15 Crosstrek w/48,000 mi. I have the (synthetic) oil changed twice a year-$200. In '20 I got wiper blades' front & back- $65. I just got tires $600. Then I had it detailed $150. I love it because the gas mi is awesome' I'm short and it's a comfy ride for us shorties. Never been off roading.
What is the definition of maintenance? What does it include? These figures so low that a lot of costs must not be considered.
Unclear what these numbers refer to… maintenance is not the issue. It’s repairs. no way these numbers are anywhere close to the actual costs per year to own, separate from depreciation.
Boy you guys have got it bad over there … Here in the land down under we average a 5 year warranty period and unlimited miles on most new vehicles. Some have 7 years Such as Hyundai and Kia and Mitsubishi even have 10 years, albeit that you only service the car with them for the whole ten.
Something not right, numbers don't make sense
Simple… Germans saved you 1
Hour of a long video.
Hey! How come you didn't bring up LEXUS?!?!
That kid is awesome 😎👍🏼
Those numbers are way too low. It's about $35 for me to do DIY oil changes every 5000 miles and I do 4 per year. So $140 for a Prius C and its tiny engine. Dealer costs would be a lot more. Plus you have to do the rest of the work like Air Filter, cabin Filter, transmission, brakes and brake fluid, tires, windshield wipers, coolant.
Toyota, 2005, 17 years old, so boring cause the maintenance is very very minimal. Have fun giving your money away on junk in 3 years.
Great info 😊
Hi @everyman drivers I am actually planning to buy a VW Toas and really loved the way it drove .. please let me know if this is a good choice to buy that car .. in terms of reliability and maintenance
Your thumbnail has me feeling personally attacked 😂
Get a Honda!! We have 2…just change the oil, and go get your 40 highway miles per gallon..both are 10 years old, hardly nothing to fix on them! I prefer Hondas over Toyotas!
Stay away from German cars older than 5 years. They intentionally made the maintenance expensive so the poor people wouldn’t drive them
Great info Thanks!! I’m getting ready to purchase a 2019 Cadillac XT5 w/ 34k miles on it.. glad to hear maintenance on it should be pretty reasonable!!
Are those people surveyed the ones that skip on services? Brake parts alone cost what a yearly cost is.
Asian cars are best I think on my own opinion 🎉
In what world is this? It’s 300 Canadian bucks for my 2019 X3 oil change and 1000 for brake light pads hmmmm
How is Mitsubishi Lancer?
Out of all brands, why you say that about lincolns? “Alright, alright, alright” 😂 I’m confused
I had wondered what Ron Radio looked like.
You know, you could have put your chart on the screen. That way I could have seen that my car was not on the list immediately.
These costs seem ridiculously low!! 1 Brake job on ANY of these vehicles will exceed your stated annual cost to repair!!
Bro $900 a year where im from is a blessing for a german car.
Bro skipped Mitsubishi like leg day at the gym
What about repairs cost
