429 cobra jet
i'd take any of these cars in a heart beat
ZL1 hell yeah
Not fast by today standards though the original suspension etc. made it feel much faster. Cheap gas and bias ply tires lit right up 😂 Today’s cars are just government mandates under a thin skin 😮 and they spy on you now 😢
Amazing how over-priced these old cars are., but buy right and you may have a decent investment.
graduated in 1974 , one of my classmates could not afford parts for his 1968 shelby cobra yep the one with the factory rollbar and offered it to me for 1200 $ dollars !!!! no i did not buy it . crazy yes too bad
I was fortunate owner of a ‘68 z28. Drove for 2 years and got married. Good bye z28.
🔥🐐🔥
Wasn't the '69 Barracuda available with the race hemi (higher compression, dual plug aluminum heads, solid lift cam, cross ram dual holleys) ? Or did they stop in '68?
Murrrsey!, And nice Cars too…😅
Yeah, that 440, 429, and that 396 was something special 🏁🎊💯
I had the Black over Green Roadrunner shown on the thumbnail — 383 4 barrel.
Should not have sold it . . .
The muscle cars today don't impress me. They are snap together real muscle cars are real steel and last
I LOVE THE 69! BUT I HAD A BLAST IN THE 70 AAR CUDA 340 SIX PACK. 4 SPEED HURST LOVE THAT BODY STYLE HOOD SCOOP, REARFIN AND SIDE PIPES IN FRONT OF 50'S. MAN I WISH MY BROTHER-IN-LAW WOULD'VE SOLD ME THAT CAR.
Mopar Performance 👍
1969 Chysler G.T.X.328 440 camando engine 6 pack carb.
Its great
Bought my "69 Road Runner when I came home from Vietnam. Loved it, so much fun to drive and did a lot of street racing. If only I had kept it. Wish I knew then what we know now, a lot of us would have kept those cars.
had a 71 GTX, pretty quick
Nice
Sad that the 1969 T/A Firebird with the RamAir system

Give me a Candy apple red or Purple 69 boss 9 over any of these. Most beautiful musclecar ever. 2nd choice. A 69 RS SS 396 L89 CAMARO.
13 seconds is still a respectable number today.
