If they are going to have the indicators on the steering wheel they should have gone with a button on the left and one on the right at the very least. Still cant follow why they don’t have a small screen on the steering column indicating speed, blinkers, cruise on/off and battery level. And I can’t understand why the battery pack isn’t thicker down the centre where the traditional exhaust pipe/drive shaft ran so the rear side passengers can get thigh support from the seats from lowering the floor thickness. They seem to still have a few strange design quirks that I don’t get at all.
why are you completely omitting Lotus everyone has reviewed the Eletre by now
Tesla cars are great for the most part. The psychopath CEO is for me, a deal breaker.
“Tesla” or “Tezla”?
CD = 2.19, very low. Well done. Side impact improvement. Good news. Acoustic glass all around. 2,000,000 Model 3 cars in service. NOW 17 speakers. Loved your review, Sir.
.
Tesla has nothing but to be quick from 0 to 60 , terrible cars ,bad bild, bad paint , pice of crab
I want an EV, but definitely don't want any vehicle with a moon/sun roof.
They are very cold when the Minnesota temp is 20 below 0 F.
And the sun blaring down on you all day.
Tesla, please add a normal insulated roof option.
I wonder if it is quieter than the last model, the last model was the noisiest car I have ever been in on the motorway, except maybe my old Saab convertible. It was astonishingly bad and couldn’t buy it. Fingers crossed
Even if battery pack problems aren’t the cause, the proximity of battery packs to another ICE vehicle on fire is a consideration for every insurer storing cars as part of the claims process. It surely has to be a factor in parking cars in multi-storey car parks or basement level parking facilities in the future too, assuming everyone is forced to use battery cars rather than conventional petrol and diesel. Perhaps cramming cars into ever narrower spaces in public car parks is a fire risk in itself?
please also talk about the issues with electric cars, fires safety issues arent something that can be ignored, even in ICE cars its often the electrical system that starts fires, and more importantly the infrastructure issues to support them electrically if mass adoption is to happen, what is the electrical supply upgrade needed to account for the current equivalent electrical energy in use in the currently used fuel based supply network etc. evangelism is not the truth.
If you have 2 children, back seat infotainment just wouldn’t work!!! Get it?
Did u say increases fuel efficiency? So tesla now has fuel lol.
The company is owned by a Fascist
Not ever buying a Tesla
Can you turn the air con off for the passenger side now? And yes model 2 please!
Tesla is reducing the number of parts to improve profit, not make car better. By the time these refreshes actually hit the market in mid 2024-2025 for Y in USA, their competition will have leap frogged ahead. Tesla who once dominated the market is losing its market share each year, and refuse to upgrade the cheap and stark interiors with only black and white choices, whereas many competitors offer truly luxurious interiors and much quieter and better handling rides and more options.
Leaking trunks, steering wheels coming loose, seat belts and seats losing bolts. I fail to see where it was ever 'the best' and if those things haven't been fixed, I never will.
It looks better than the old one. I'm tempted but why (1) indicator stalk (2) 360 camera?
I drive a 2023 Model 3 and honestly I’m happy I got mine before the refresh. Not a fan of the look, the badging, the no stalks for directional. I would take one of those seats though.
The standard should be with stalks, if someone whats buttons than make it a option.
The byd seal looks to be a better alternative to this
Funny thing is that they call it minimalism with AI support, yet they removed the gear shifter and put its functionality on the monitor. But then they added separate gear control buttons just in case the monitor doesn't work? If that's the case, why not just keep it simple with just one column gear shifter with no extra buttons? It would be much more intuitive and less confusing. It’s just cost-saving..
no stalks? it got way worse. They keep reducing quality as much as possible in order to save few bucks.
Yet another "EVERYTHING IS AMAZING" biased video by the independent fully charged show.. I know you are unashamedly pro electric vehicles (so am I), but for the love of god please give us something more meaningful so we can actually use your videos to make informed decisions. I'll get you started, for one this car has no parking sensors which in the UK is kind of important. More important than some tiny screen in the rear cabin, or ambient lighting (wow!). No mention of whether this car has radar or is it purely reliant on Tesla Vision (like in the US). No mention of whether there is a front facing camera on the bumper (conflicting reports about that online), would've been good if you did your research and addressed that.
How do i give the windscreen a quick spray now that there's no stalk?
Sadly, this feels like a propaganda and very biased review. While I agree the front looks great compared to the previous model, the fact that they removed a lot of technology (i.e. LDAR) and convenience features (the stocks for changing lanes that we are used to having) which Robert totally fails to mention the lower quality sensors. The paint colors are boring, and the road noise is bad compared to other EV vehicles. Still love Fully Charged and EV tech, just not a fan of Tesla.
I have push button on my motorcycle….and woks fine😅😅😅😅
No driver binnacle, no indicator stalk, no wipers stalk, no drive/reverse stalk, no parking sensors, no fog lights, no radar, no underbody jack blocks.
The only success here is one of brainwashing and mind warping and manipulation.
It’s a Model T powered by electric. And that’s all you get.
Roof blind please.
They are such ugly cars though, and common as muck on the road. They are the new Ford Mondeo 😂
Is the acceleration boost available for the new model 3? Couldn‘t find the answer anywhere…
I wish he could say “Tesla” properly 😂
When I swap my current M3, I'd go for the new ludicrous version.
As a Model Y driver, I have two frustrations with current Teslas: You can't unplug the charge cable without either going into the app or climbing into the car to press the screen, and the lack of support for Android Auto and Apple Player (both of which are superior for media and navigation). Other than that, the car is good to drive and incredibly efficient compared to other electric cars i've owned.
This is definately on my list, especially the standard range with the pricing below £40k! The suspension being softened is welcomed by me due to having a bad neck and feeling every bump!
Taillights put me in mind of the '67 Barracuda
Many thanks for your review Robert, your kept it simple but by making the direct comparison with your new current car was really informative!
Give me a BMW M2 any day of the week over this over priced milk float.
Yes dear some of you in different shows they say the long range are 423 miles now you say between 270 to 300 miles completely big difference you have to decide
⚡️⚡️⚡️
As you are paid by Tesla, your dialogue has no creditability. Understand you have to feed your family. Notice you never ever mention the carbon balloon created during manufacture allowing the owners to be net zero after 70,000 miles. No doubt it is a good computer car.
They will give you one later. No rant about petrol cars this time Mr Spin Doctor.
why do you pronounce it TEZLA when there is an S like TESLA?
And EV's are still pilling up at dealerships and the numbers show they are not selling even close to expected. lol
Some nice tweaks here, but calling all of this "game changing" is just silly hyperbole? Tone it down a little, sounding so much like a sycophant is squandering your credibility for when they ACTUALLY make game-changing updates like the battery pack modernization (next year maybe, tough to rely on Tesla predictions lol)
Not having the option of a 360 degree view with camera is a big miss. This is such a basic feature now available across so many cars at this price point and IMO is a big missing option. Just look at every tesla in parking lots and they all have scraped rims..
The styling is a big downgrade. It just looks like a mid Mazda now.
Tesla is a lie… Why do you support them? in supporting Tesla you're supporting the most overpriced car company in the world who will be reasonable for the biggest loss of wealth in history when people finally find out Musk has been lying about self driving tech.
I wouldn't go near it if I had to drive with all the info on that ridiculous great screen placed to one side!
Make sure you're sitting down when you're told the trade-in price! You might find you'll have to keep buying Teslas for the rest of your life!
