I can kind off relate to this story, aged 15 I decided to take out my mom's Austin Metro which was a top spec back in the day her pride and joy and 1st car after passing test. Ended in a mess after I rolled it landing in someone's front garden. Grabbed the keys and ran home jumped in bed and hour later police on the fone about it and told um it got stolen. Thankfully insurance paid out and that's the only thing I've never been able to tell my mother and 30yrs later I still feel guilty for not telling her. I was very very lucky kid because seeing the car in salvage yard it was a bad bad mess and roof caved in big time and not a scratch on me, should I tell her or best left as is now??
