I just lately changed the inventory rotors and calipers on my 2016 228i xdrive for M Efficiency brakes. Whereas they work effectively, I encountered an issue with the interior diameter of the rotors being bigger than inventory, regardless of deciding on the rear rotors (34 21 6 797 598) that are designated as being for the smaller wheel bearings. Consequently, my e-brake sneakers lack adequate grip on the interior diameter.
After researching, I discovered that there are two sizes of brake sneakers (165 and 185). I am questioning if there’s an adapter ring obtainable to compensate for the distinction in measurement? Swapping to bigger sneakers may not be possible attributable to fitment points with the present wheel knuckle.
