I like the idea of buying one… but then I go for a ride on my R1250GSA … and I remember how comfy it is to ride.
I was thinking all through that, OK yes but for real on the road riding, do you get anything more than the S1000R offers and in more people's budget. Then you pretty much answered it. Having said that the black M1000R with all its carbon at the bike show was a thing of beauty.

BVG is like an old boxing judge, they've almost stopped looking at who's winning the fight, and they've started to think so outside the box – looking for abstract and philosophical reasoning in an attempt to acquire some further understanding on something that they now simply too good at… so much so that they ultimately drop a bollock and make the wrong decision.
I haven't ridden one, but every about this bike on paper suggests that it is probably the best naked sports bike in the world, in Baron's own words – "it's great at EVERYTHING"… that's the bottom line, don't listen to his dwellings about how it's not giving him a hardon… it's great at absolutely everything… that's the takeaway here, it's "too good at everything", the only fault is that it's TOO GOOD… Jesus Christ.

21.50 agree! does not suit the characteristic of the bike, I just don't understand why 210 bhp is needed or even wanted or deemed necessary on a naked bike! superbike RR yes for sure but as you say you just cant use it on a naked… unless cartoonish just hang the fuck on and legs flapping out back. Great looking bike but so is the non-M version. More road manners than a street fighter for sure, that thing is shit unless it's screaming… and we touched on that before.
