I saw that car on Alligator Alley on the side of the road with the flat tire. It was towed backwards on the claw of a flat bed.
Oh yeah, that T/A is a keeper. I'm more into all black interiors but this one is really a nice car. Obviously the PO('s) put a lot of work in it. Your work is a big motivation for me to restore my '73 1/2 Formula 400 that has been sitting in my garage patiently for 20+ years. Will watch your further progress on this icon of the muscle car era. Thanks for sharing!
310hp stock…It looks like a fully restored southern car they alway look "super" clean …..you should at least pulled the carpet and cleaned the salt residue off the floor pans and pressure washed the carpet
Just subscribed enjoyed your garage video keep them coming
I was in the builder business for about a decade …was surprised to see a commenter here claim it was his !!
Yeh Buccaneer Red on White …sharp combo .
That is one beautiful Trans Am!! I can imagine how it looked before Ian. So happy it's getting a second lease on life. That car is WAY too nice not to save!!
That car was obviously restored. VERY nice car!
To bad you dont know to get it running
Take it all apart, clean it, clean the wiring, all the plugs, under the dash. Wash it, wash it and wash it again. Door panels and the entire interior has to come out to clean it. But still its save able!!
Beautiful car! Nice score!
Can I buy it
Plz
Yep can definitely tell that’s a dealership! Any legitimate car enthusiast would’ve completely drained all oils and flushed everything before even attempting to start it! These guys don’t give one rats ass about that car, they just want to clean it up, make it run and make way more than they paid for it when sold! Fucking stealership at its finest!
Beautiful car. Where you guys located?
Might as well send that to the scrap yard, Salt water floods cant be repaired. it will be a hot rusty mess in 6 months.
if you don't take the seats and carpet out it ain't gonna be long till the floor starts to rust
Flood cars, anything with a computer is doomed for eternity. It will be Plagued with problems for the people that buy them. The salt water will slowly eat away at all the wiring. For a 70s firebird, it's an easy fix, but could you immagine a new Corvette or an Escalade🥴😵😵💫
So sad what happened to that car.
It'll be rust bucket in a few years. Using a forklift on this classic was a criminal act.
I'd love to have this one..I got a 79 and love it.
Great job guys i really enjoyed your video,i will like to know if u guys will be willing to finish up my 10th Anniversary trans Am for me? im in auburn,al an i can get it there not much to be done to it will love to talk to some one there
I lost all my cars in the hurricane/flood. I retained my 56 panel truck, but insurance would only issue a certificate of destruction, meaning it can never be registered…ever(I'll get it on the road, though) My 69 c10 was titled in PA, so they let me get a salvage title. What's the story with the T/A?
What incredible shape for a fifty year old car.
Show the progress of this trans ams rebirth, I just subscribed hopefully to see it.
How to restore flooded engines, drain all fluid and replace with diesel. This helps remove the rust and water. Drain diesel and full with oil.
Can I ask how much you paid?
Can is clean value: $55k- 75k
Get a hose on that thing. Hose down EVERYTHING dash behind the dash down the carb, pull the plugs. I pickle marine engines when they sink. But freshwater must flush out every inch
How much??
I thought salt water flood vehicles will rust from the inside out because of the salt. How does all the salt get cleaned up?
Absolutely amazing car!!
Do you still have the trans am?
That is a nice car. Needs a little work.
Did you sell this car?
