What about the mistake of buying the shed like vehicle in the first place 😂😂😂😂
the "don't regularly charge to 100%" does NOT apply to LFP batteries
Note that LFP batteries don’t like to be charged to 100% but Tesla do recommend to charge them at 100% as they don’t have a solution to know the amount of energy left in the battery. Il-ion battery power fades as the battery is drained and Tesla uses this to guesstimate the battery charge. LFP doesn’t fade and thus the safest way to compute the percentage left is to start at 100%. As LFP have a much larger number of cycles Tesla seems to think it is a good trade of. Experts still do recommend to charge at 80% when you can. Just know that the range guesstimate will be less accurate.
7:00 lol, just use a water bottle
Good stuff bro! Thanks
5min when you charge till 100% 😂 really…we are talking about storing…its about not leaving your car on 100% for a week or more… everybody should see these things a little more normal and not so dramatic
Pretty angry about Tesla right now, taking out the parking sensors and radar out of new model 3 is just ridiculous, how on earth can someone make such a terrible decision. People were forced to "accept the change" or cancel the order, and that a few days before delivery after waiting for half a year. This is such a loss of trust, now you have a new Model 3 and it's almost unusable in european inner cities without parking sensors, i hope there will be a class action lawsuit, such a ridiculous and senseless agression against buyers, i am speechless!
Jesus, owning a Tesla seems like more trouble than it is worth.
you have earned your self a new subscriber
The thing about Tesla boats are that it won't catch fire but usually the 12v dies because for some reason it's not water sealed
The frunk closing technique is not just for preventing dents, I hear it's for the battery life
the manual release is like other cars without electric door latches so for many it is habit
Don't use your car as a boat? Really? Took my finger from the Subscribe button. Most of your tips are plain nonsense.
thank you, I am a new owner, these information is very helpful
'promo sm' 😌
Tesla recommended to charge 100% at least once a week
Jokes on you, the MY I've had to endure came ruined from the factory! Not a creak free day in its life.
I recently spoke with an employee at our local Tesla service center about LFP batteries, and he emphatically said NOT to leave LFP BATTERIES charged to 100% or they WILL degrade. I suggest that you double check your advice that, “LFPs like being charged to 100%.”
Here is another major no-no! Never, ever tow a Tesla in a way that turns the wheels. Each wheel is essentially a generator that charges the battery and energizes the electronics. This unregulated charging can fu your car and even cause it to burst into flames. So always put your Tesla on a flat bed when “towing.”😊
Nearest supercharger is 250 miles away and on another island, unfortunately. Hawaii even though it has plenty of Tesla's, it still not super ev friendly.
Top 12… don't watch this.
Dude get some sleep you look absolutely f-ed up 😂
Too many rules in charging. I’ll wait a few more years before getting one
WTch how open tow eye cover on Tesla model x
Just thinking of purchasing a Tesla. Winters here sometimes get below 0F. How do you precondition your battery? I am retired and 99% of my drives are local. Again How do I precondition the battery?
Great video and you have a nice presentation style.
My friend lost his fsd for 2 weeks for not paying attention
This broke guy got the model 3 lmao
Hi Jeremiah, Question on #11 precondition battery – I don't quite understand what you said – "To precondition the battery turn on the "What?" Can't make out what you said.
Yes it is nicer to hand wash any car, but what do you do in the winter time where in Illinois we have snow, ice, and allot of salt. How do you get the salt off of the underframe without going to a car wash???? Is the car body that sensitive to doing car washes?? What if I put a coating of wax on the body would that protect the paint better in car washes?
Note: No way I would hand wash a car in the winter time. The car would be in a home garage, but still we are talking 30 degrees and trying to wash a cold vehicle.
Note: I don't have an EV right now, but trying to learn about the Tesla. Some of the things you mention I have heard in other videos.
Thank you for the tips and take care
I have a Y… is there a way to roll up or roll down windows from your phone?
I don't want to think about any of this.
2:55 yeah dude it’s smarter to make more stops if you have a Tesla supercharger every hundred miles, but if you live in Columbia Tennessee and you’re driving to Arcadia Florida, you’re gonna have to use that supercharger to 100% most times 90% of the time
5:31 modifying a Tesla without being Tesla, is a big no-no———- this coming from someone that has never modified a Tesla
6:04 tesla would not be able to prove that the extra power provided by the software bypass caused the issue. Software 101.
A Correction: Your Tesla Will Not go back to 80% if you have it set to 100% (highly recommend if you are a new Tesla owner and are leaving your car to charge while you shop or eat for the first few times). It Will Go Back if the Tesla Charging Station (like the warning on his screenshot) is in high use. Then your car will automatically adjust to 80% simply to get more Teslas in and out of the Supercharging stations quickly. You can if you need just simply slide the charging limit right back up to 100% if your car automatically brought the limit down to 80% when you first plugged in (due to the Station being in high use).
Curb Rash Avoidance: If you have a Tesla with self-parallel parking, let your car park itself. My experience is my car is better at it than I am. I can only speak from my experience with my fully optioned Model S.
What exactly is a touch car wash? The automatic drive through washes? Or when employees at a wash clean your car?
Does the charge limit apply to the 2023 model Y? The dealer told me to keep charge to 100% like your phone. And it will stop charging automatically
charge to 100% if you're using a LFP battery because you should always do that with a LFP battery.
new model 3 has a new type of battery, 100% is recommended.
I'm waiting for the refresh of the model 3 then I will purchase the performance. I've been watching many videos on Tesla and your content is good and I'm a new sub. I dig your dry sense of humor it's like watching myself 😁
