Every single car out there, with very few exceptions, lose half their value as soon as you open the door. People who complain about "feeling cheated" are just entitled assholes. If you deem that a car is worth $70k and that's what you pay, that's on you. You having full and complete agency over your purchase is hardly something that can be blamed on Tesla or anyone else for that matter. You're not entitled to a cheaper car just because you happened to buy one when it was more expensive.
Build quality of the Y and 3 are pure trash. Gaps and squeaks at that price point ???? Laughable and sad. Have Elon ride around in those and see the cheap and sad build on the gaps and noisy interior. No thanks I will stick with a car maker that makes a better car.

wow all the fud about BMW and it was once the #! branded car even over toyota lexus..thats how you know the world is nothing but rumor spreading idiots..i have a x5 twin turbo and beats any car in its line up.even the 4runner has 265hp low torque and sux in perfomance.. no where near better then a x5..the rumors in the car industry is nothing but a disease..

I think Elon is concerned with getting out too far over the end of his skis and cost of production is the next 6-12 month concern while favored politiions, chemistry, Mega factories catch up to needs

I'm not sure about your comment on "Tesla having demand problems". The numbers of their sales exploding in all markets tend to prove just the opposite. I think it's because the demand is so high that decreasing prices has such a big impact on orders. You can give big sales on products people don't care about and it'll have only a marginal effect. Now orders match their new production capacity.
Also they're on a mission to put teslas in as many hands as possible. That goes through price cuts and is actually a very nice move people shouldn't complain about.
They could offer some free miles and services to people who bought teslas in the last 3 or 6 months before price cuts. That would be a classy move.
