Have fun with it Dom, I say bring it back to its original glory π
I loved that car! Ferrari of the poor as we said back these days. My dream car was a Fiat Coupe white perlato with 20v turbo 5cyl. Engine with brembo red calipers
Its a no from me!
My best friend had one bk in the day, beautiful cars just extremely unreliable, he ended up blowing the engine up racing against a subaru. You'll get your money back breaking it though if it ever does break, I love them
I love these, one of my dream cars too! Hope it serves you well
Found In A Tip. Fix It Again Tomorrow. Well at least you'll have a chance to make plenty of content fixing it. Good luck, RIP bank balance and have fun.
Lots of work to do on that, nice car when it runs but it as been left standing for a reason.Good luck.
Ha! I knew what it was before I clicked on the vid… ππ
Lost for words…. i would of never expected this. Enjoy bro
Great choice mate, a bit like you aswell as loads of other cars I've had my eye on one of these. Loads of potential
I mean this is not a daily, it's a perpetual project – if you accept that (which I'm sure you have) you'll get endless smiles out of it. Nice buy!!!
Belle vidΓ©o. DΓ©solΓ©. Mais je reste Audi TT π
Had one of these when I was 19, in baby blue used to race round Notts circuit back in the day got caught going over 176mph ( got 9 point for that) on M1 on way to centre pod 13.6 sec flat Quater mile standard other than air box chop ( amazing turbo flutter!! Try it !! )
In fact Carl might remember it lol
To be fair it was fast back in its day especially with a nut lose behind the wheel lol
Dom the best Β£50 quid youβve spent in a while thatβs all in with brake parts
I knew you had heat stroke see a Doctor as soon as possible ,youβll be joining the fiat owners club next ,what a great loss to the Audi TT gang a loyal TT engineer lost for ever to an Italian temptress, god please save him
Have a great safe time at the ring and rekindle the love of the 4 circles and donβt drink to many of those excellent lager beers stay safe top lad ππ¨π»βππΊ
Good purchase Dom! Send it to the moon π
Good luck with this car Dom!
The only Fiat I ever owned was an X 1/9, which I loved. It was not too reliable, I hope this one works out better for you
Fantastico! Stile Italiano … nice choice Dom. Curious to know how it compares to the TT from a driving perspective. But I love the form, proportions and styling. Lovely little car. Hope you get to restore it nicely.
Should have got the LE
And I thought you were a bit mad for owning 3 ttβs π good on ya I really thought about one of these but my brain was shouting at me saying donβt be crazy π looking forward to seeing how this goes ππ»ππ»
I've got a 20v Turbo as well π
This, was on your bucket list!?!
I saw your post on FCCUK so checked this out. Looks a bit ropey but it will soon scrub up. These cars really do get under your skin. I loved the looks long before I bought mine, and that sound track from the 5 pot π

Nice. From memory, at least some of these come with LSD standard.
The ECU is modular too so you can fit the chip yourself.
Check the turbo…..that could be the oil leak.
Engine out to swap the timing belt if needed, wheeler dealers had one where their timing belt came with new water pump too…..may aswell while it's out.
From what I read, these are over engineered though, apparently big power is possible with a decent number of fiat parts still in situ.
