I love all these negative comments from either Tacoma haters or dummies. Yes the Tacoma is priced high. However this is a new model year and normally for any vehicle made its sales are lower. However the Tacomas sales were as of April around 56,000 units sold. The Nissan which is the closest sale competitor and not a new model was around 17,000. The rest of them like the Chevy and Especially the Ford are way down. I look at this new 2024 model and I see a wonderfully engineered truck that’s better looking than the competitors. It will still outsell the competitors 3 to 1. It will have a resell value not only better than them it will have a resell value second to all vehicles made except the Tundra. And the reliability is second to none.
Has everyone just forgotten that Chevy and GMC also have pretty good mid-sized trucks?
Toyota is so sloppy now a days i would stay far clear of these new introduced tacomas

I really wanted one until I found out about the powertrain. Until they throw in a V6 twin-turbo with 400+ horsepower, there won't be one in my driveway. That's why I'm eyeballing the ranger raptor right now.
Which option do you want? The front diff that fails? The over hearing transmission? Or the manual that goes out? How about we slide that tailgate farther over one side for you?

Ive noticed how tight lipped this channel has been around the Tacoma. It’s laughable, they clown on Andre and his colorado for having the software issues but never broke mechanically and helped saved that tacoma when broken. Dont hold back TFL!!! They def have a gag order about toyota products so obvious

I was waiting for the iForcemax (Hybrid) MPG and price numbers to come out. Let's just say I was very disappointed in both numbers. You make a hybrid, but you use it for more torque, not efficiency. OK, but it's a mid-sized truck. If you're towing frequently, you're probably in the full size market. Like many Tacoma owners, it's my daily driver, and I use it for DYI projects and hiking/camping adventures. I needed higher efficiency, not more towing capability. I feel like they really missed the mark there.
Naah. Not worth it. I decided for 2024 Frontier pro4x…excellent simple truck with V6!!! no turbos and much better price.

The Toyota dealer in my area just got their first trd pro taco. Sticker without any adjustments is just under 69 grand. Hard pass for me personally

I like the TRD Pro but the back seat leg room turns me off. If there were some way to get the person in the back more leg room like a after market rear seat replacement that would be great.

Way too much money for a 4-cylinder turbo and either the hybrid model. Ridiculous. Plus with all that technology computer crap the insurance companies have to raise their prices by at least $100 a month. To cover stuff that you'll never use hardly. Toyota needs to get back to making trucks and not computer chips on wheels. And 6 cylinders and 8s
