My dad had a 92 Eclipse and it was the last manual car I drove. Toward the end of its life, it had some transmission issues and probably could have used a decent wrenching, but it was fun to drive. Next time I move, I definitely need a much bigger garage for a project car. I miss doing that stuff with my dad. I'm sure I could convince him to come over and take an engine apart again, like the old days. 🙂

I'm guessing the damage to the inner guard is sand blasting from Nevada…. If it was anywhere near the desert the tire would spit sand into it stripping paint of factory sound deadener. Not at a high enough speed to bare metal it but with enough force to de-paint it. Similar to how salt treated roads ruin cars but without the rust factor

Idk if it's just me but those calipers look out of place with those rotors, definitely need larger rotors than those mustang rotors
I would leave the ctsv logo on the calipers
If you went with a tire that's slightly narrower it would give you some more fender to tire clearance

FYI, hoses that don't rub on something else, tend to fail 1-1/2 diameters from the hose fitting! as you have seen!
At the start of you video you showed the brakes, and they look a bit familiar. Do they look like your red ones you painted for the 2011 Mustang? They look like Brembos. I just compared a 4 piston Brembo to that and they look identical which is not a bad thing.
