This was a fun, helpful collab with Donut and thank you Craftsman for coming in clutch with overnighting the tools I needed to make the repair! As you guys saw, I have moved to a new driveway and it's been pretty challenging to move over 1000mi away, all by myself. I hope to get back on track with consistent videos in the new place in the next couple months or so. I'm still sleeping on a blow up bed but my tools and cars are here so time to unpack and get the ball rolling. So about ur insta story i think an amazing first car is going to be a w202 mercedes c220d. First of all this is going to be my first car cuz it is my dad's second car and i fell in love with it. I like it and i think it is alr for a first one cuz 1st it is increndebly reliable, VERY fuel eficient, it is safe enough for a 20 yr old car. The only downside is the fact that it wad made in 1999 so its very old, and that it is RWD instead of FWD since it is better in the winter when it is snowy. Btw love ur vids❤

For a first car i would recommend a Chevrolet spark because the price is good and the parts are cheap and there easy to maintain
If you ask me, the best 1st car is either 2005 Volkswagen Passat B5.5 or 1987 Volkswagen Golf 2 escpecially if you are in Europe. Passat is cheap, reliable, parts are easy to find and you can really customize it. Meanwhile Golf 2 is more reliable, parts are even cheaper, there is barely any electronics (that why there are so little issues) AND you get Old-timer benefits (cheaper registration, custom licence plate)

The best first car is a Volvo 240. You can find them for cheap, and if you do wreck them, it won’t brake the bank to fix them. Another reason to buy a 240 is because they are safe. The Volvo 240 is one of or even the safest car from the 80s in the world. They aren’t hard to fix and it is a great car to get in to fixing cars. There is also a station wagon for college students, allowing them to pack there car for college with all the trunk space. Hello Chris!

Probably the thickest fluid I've ever pumped was Lucas Transmission Fix. (btw, it's working well protecting my transmission before my atf order turns up). That thing is more like a runny grease rather than a fluid. But now I know if I can handle that with the proper tool I got, gear oil shouldn't be a problem at all.
Chris, how did you get that torque wrench to 18 foot pounds? I have the same one, but it say the lowest it goes is 20ftlbs
I'm not sure what the best way to solve it would be. But isn't it quite hazardous to basically spill oil on the road knowingly. I don't think the motor cyclists would appreciate it.
