There are plenty of ppl hating this new headlight… it’s changing from a Porsche Panamera to vw Arteon…would be interesting to see from a poll
if the price of the new model 3 is about the same it would plus, but if price increased alot than its not worthy.
ik those points were someone's personal opinion, but I feel like they focused on the wrong things. Yes, the missing indicator stock may annoy some (It's not a big deal imo, even when it comes to the roundabouts), fog lights supposedly are integrated into the main headlight housing. If it's true, I suppose that the light will be directed downwards to reflect from the ground. I feel like people are missing the point. This is NOT a new car. It's a mid-cycle refresh. There are a lot of changes which doesn't happen often with these facelifts so Tesla did put a lot of work into it. Changes that people will feel the most are going to be: ride quality (revised suspension), quietness (more isolation and use of softer materials), ventilated seats, and (good or bad – depending on preference) stalkless design.
Low quality review
I am looking forward to getting mine dekivered next Tuesday 😊
FUD – wow – one bad review and you use it to dis Tesla – bad form!
1:30 – Almost certainly from the Netherlands looking at the reddit user post history.
The removal of stalks in the US may be ok with the lack of roundabouts and propensity to ignore any type of indicators at them, but I can't see removing the stalks being practical for a country like Australia with a roundabout at every 2nd intersection and the need to indicate in and out, I'll try when they get here but have low expectations.
Perhaps the bigger issue is the removal of the gear shifter stalk – When you back out of a driveway onto a busy road, a simple flick and you're away moving forward, I can't imagine sitting in the middle of the road with cars bearing down on your ass at 50mph searching a screen for a swipe will be all that comfortable.
Different strokes for different folks. Some people will love it, some will hate it. The biggest complaints I've seen so far from forums and reviews is the missing stalks. To me it's not that big a deal, but there's some serious anger over that. But the headlights seem to be almost universally loved – but it's no surprise there will be some people out there who prefer the older design.
To the person who 'wrote' that review – now is a PERFECT time, perhaps the best time ever, to buy a Model 3 for his wife, especially if they are in the States and if they prefer the current design over the Highland.. The base price is amazing, and the federal tax credit is still (up to) $7500 for another 2 months. Kinda curious what his
wifethinks, though, since he claims it's for her. LOLYou sound u have sore throat. Go take cepacol
