Reusing bearings after being pulled off and pressed on is shitty practice.
You shoukd have used new bearings and use an induction heater to expand the bearing and then just drop it onto the shaft rather than pressing it on.

Years ago I pulled apart a Mercedes slk550, non kompressor model, that was 1 year old and got into a flood and hydrolocked like this and bent a rod. It was for a salvage yard/salvage auctioneer. They didn't want to fix it and for the parts it was $27,000. I cut the beam out of the rod. Pulled the wires off the injector and could at least drive it around the lot missing one cylinder.
