There is also steer by wire. You turn the wheel. It sends a signal to to ECU. The ECU decides whether to tell the electric steering module to make the turn or not. No physical connection from the steering wheel to the steering rack. We used to build the ECU and steering module for them.

5:23 That car could have been new. It happens A LOT in German junk and in Paccar's and other Semi- Tractors. Sensors that lose a seal and the fluid behind them under pressure travels up the wire insulation and into the control modules they're attached to. I've never seen a bad battery cause lights THAT bad. I have seen hack stereo installs cause that level of rave lights though. Shorted and melted entire under dash wiring and fried the BCM…x7 of those.
4:02, its amazing how many people don't realize these lights were designed by someone to flash to the beat of the music playing. They probably ran the dash lights to one of those house light show boxes.

i tested filling my 2010 Volvo V70 D5 (Diesel) with petrol and it ran just fine was just not running as great as on diesel but it was fine and all i had to do to get it back to complete normal was just filling the tank with 2 liters of petrol DONT TRY IT THO it can go really bad.

I used to work at a racing school. One weekend at Motordrome speedway outside of Pittsburgh, an employee's family members were helping at the track. One of them went to fill up our 50-gallon barrels with fuel. She filled them with diesel. I think 4 of our cars (half the field or so) were filled with diesel before anything was fired up. Idk how the guys fixed 'em but they were running fine again by the end of the day. We'd lost 3 or 4 hours altogether though and customers were pissed. I quit that day.
In a pinch you can run a gas engine off ~50/50 gas/diesel mix. Not sure if it would start but it will run on that mix. Only tried this with red(off road) diesel(shouldn't be different than clear/green diesel). Did it in an old caprice for about 30 miles. Ran for years no problem afterwards. Note this was back in the early 2000's so assuming things haven't changed much in the fuel game sense then.
