I'm retired, so I don't drive my 2021 Mazda CX-5 turbo very often, so I'm actually using less gasoline than the best gas mileage cars out there, and I've got the power whenever I want it. I've put only 3200 miles on it in 2.5 years. And it doesn't have iStop (i.e. Engine Stop/Start Technology), a CVT, or Cylinder Deactivation. Zoom Zoom!

I was driving a very nice newish loner car while Infiniti was fixing my car. The loaner had the auto-off feature. I noticed it left the AC, etc. running while sitting at the light. After a week of that, my car was ready to pick up. That day, as I drove the loner back to the dealership, it did it's auto-off thing at a stop light and then it stalled. It seemed the AC, etc. was draining the battery too much! Your thoughts?
