I like this comparison, but sequoia is SUV vs crossover grand highlander. My choice is big family and traveling Sequoia. Daily driving kids to school shopping and city grand highlander.
I’m not purchasing either. Highlander is and has always been a glorified minivan. I just sold my Sequoia, after many years, for an Armada with a V8! Armada is a much better value with a V8 compared to Sequoia with “fans” aka turbo v6. If I’m paying the price for a V8 then I’m buying a vehicle with a V8.
The sequoia cargo area is not a flat floor which is why i can't go for it. I have a f250 so towing is not needed.

Should compare the non hybrid version of the Grand Highlander. It'd be more comparable.
Excellent videos friends, but I would like you to be able to make a versus between "Mazda CX90 2024" and "Subaru Ascent (Evoltis, it will depend on the market where they sell it) 2024". "2024 Mazda CX90" versus "2024 Toyota Grand Highlander." And talk to versus also who the "Mazda CX60" competes with.
Comfortable and quiet ride are important attribrutes to my wife and I. Is there a way to turn-off the V8 sound that comes in the Sequoia through its speaker system? And if we can do so, is ther a large difference in the quietness of the cabin in the Sequoia now, compared to that of a Grand Highlander 8 speed Gas Only Limited trim? Please, let us know. Sequoia looks good, but not perfect
The Grand Highlander made the Sequoia obsolete at this point unless you're towing a heavy load.

I was unsure before I watched this very well done comparison now I have more clear understanding and I’ll go for the Grand Highlander more fuel efficient smoother ride and would be easier for my wife to drive and I’ll have my tundra for myself 😁

I started off looking at the Grand Highlander Hybrid MAX Platinum as our new family car, since we're adding a fifth member in several months. However, I wanted to look at the alternatives, and your reviews and the reviews of others have helped me decide that the one I'm going to go with is the Grand Highlander. I looked at the Lexus TX, the Hyundai Palisade, the Honda Pilot, the regular Highlander, and the Mazda CX-90, but every time I see a comparison done, I'm left with the firm conviction that the Grand Highlander is the best one for us, so that's what we'll be going with.
I'm a sucker for a luxury SUV so I'm drawn to the Grand Highlander. However, that Sequoia Capstone is sexy as hell. I think I'd have to give the nod to the Sequoia. Nice review, guys! Thank you!
The grand highlander only supports a four pin connection for towing, so no electric brakes and safety features will need to be turned off as with cruise control. It would be nice to do a full towing comparison for 5000 pounds and under. You can add a seven pin connector with 12v power to support a wireless brake controller and send power to the trailer, but you still have the limitations of limiting safety features and convenience features like cruise control.
