Wages are not keeping with the cost of vehicles! They are robbing people. People are becoming deep in debt with no way out. It's not unusual to find a pickup truck for $100,000 🤮
When the price goes up and people buy some at that price, they will never go down to keep the price up they will cut back on how many trucks they make or make to order trucks
Been looking at a lot of trucks. GM still has the best truck prices and giving special financing. Reason their prices are holding.
Actually prices can not only move down (pure BEV without any of the ICE Platform BULLSHIT already well underway) but Companies such as Ford and Hyundai have the Maverick and Santa Cruz respectively which are volume daily drivers for both…calling into question excepting the F-Series, Rivian and imminently Tesla Cybertruck this entire INDUSTRY'S EXISTENCE namely gouge until you're GONE.
Most Americans switched back to Sedans YEARS AGO given fuel economies.
Lucky for GM they have Cadillac therefore..
You can eat those trucks. Come down on the prices or go out of business.
i ordered a new 6 speed manual dodge Cummins in 2016 plainest truck i could order.plain radio thats it nothing fancy still paid 64,000 canadian,,,,after 6 years they finaly gave up caling me and emailing me to come and trade it in last time they said have we got a deal for you….i said mine is fully paid for why would i get onto payment's why on earth would i do that,,,,he said you need a new truck i said ok give me your new truck and il give you mine and YOU give me 75,000 Canadian for mine….ya they never ever called back keep what you got by used but never new never….my truck has 225,000km still running strong
People need to stop buying new vehicles. The majority of people out there aren't but the people that refuse to buy a cheap used car that will last them an easy 100K miles because it's "old" are the problem. Force these companies to come back to reality. With the majority of people in the United States making $30,000/year, how the hell are people affording their record high bills, grocery costs, etc and $70K+ trucks? It's asinine.
Right now the lots are overflowing with trucks. You can see it everywhere
Mary Barra can blo me. I just bought a 2023 Ram 1500 HEMI for 23% below MSRP. I would not buy a GM product truck at 50% off because of poor quality.
I'm not a person to change and buy a new truck every 5 years. I bought one new truck and have kept it for 29 years. The crazy high prices for a truck now are out of reach for most people.
The wealthy are not affected by high prices. They’re the ones buying the higher end trucks.
I bought my last truck two years ago. I bought a GMC Silverado Crew Cab LT. it was $52,000 out the door, I got it prior to them getting crazy prices. The first thing I did was bought some AT4 Tires and Rims for $1200 but sold the Factory Tires and Wheels for $1000 so it cost me literally $200 dollars for the different Factory Tires and Wheels. It’s all Tinted out from back and all four Sides, a leveler Kit gave it a little boost Higher in the Front, 6.6 Tricked Out Duramax Power Plant paired to the Allison 10 speed Transmission The Truck is The Bright Red for that Year of 21 is sweet, with the small details I did to the truck used it’s value, but I don’t want to pay $90,000 for GMC Truck. This Truck literally got 22 mpg the day I drove it off the lot.
Great video, very informative. I will " NOT " pay these stupid inflated prices for a Chevy product. People who are buying these trucks at such a high price are getting reamed!
I was looking at one of them truck. I told them I am paying cash. They raise there price over 15,000 asking price. Yall manufacturers need to get in them dealership face. It's bull shit
I'll wait until they are all starving before I buy a new truck.
I can see a lot of repos in the future 6figure trucks that’s insane
They are creating the shortage.
If they drop $30k at least of off MSRP I'll consider looking at whatever truck. Their problems aren't my problems. fuck em. I'll run my current truck until the end of time.
Those of us that have Great Credit are the ones sitting on the sidelines/not buying anything. Between interest rates and dealer-markups, we're too smart-to get lured into $1,200/Month Truck payments. Twice the amount I paid for my new 2016 f-150. The only ones buying regularly, are the ones writing-off these prices/as a "Business-Expense"
Stop buying new. Its a rip off. Don't be stupid. I hope they all go under.
gm ford and toyota ceo's said they will have a 15k small pickup truck.
I dont know what your smoking as a CEO. But I've been leasing for about 25 years .the reason was your lease was a better deal than buying. Not any more your lease s suck who would lease for a 600 to 700 dollar paytment. You as CEO need to give some incentives to customers. You did not as a company. Your in never never land if you think your high vehicle are selling at 85000 to 120000 .your insane. The only thing you as ceo are look at is your Ass making or 2 million to 20 million profits for yourself. Not the customer nor your employees. You think everyone are idiot's. I'm driving a 2020 Silverado trial boss and there was No deals at your Dealership for loyalty and any other incentive. So stop the BS unless your talking in your mirror. ¹¹
Dealer are putting their supply on out lots, so it looks like they have no supply. Then they can rise the price
you know how people do the push test on interiors of vehicles? its mainly done around the infotainment screen, a/c controls and trims. it shouldnt make a loose sound but most low quality vehicles do. my 60k silverado makes that sound, on those areas when i drive over lane dividers. and so do the 80k models. piss poor cheap plastic trucks
I've got a 2007 GMC. Just put a new transmission in it next we'll be the motor if I need to
Let them go bankrupt
