Iād consider this used at a huge discount, because I actually like it. However, for the price Mercedes needs to have a bigger battery and more horsepower. I donāt think people are looking for āadequateā when they buy a luxury brand and the specs on this are just adequate. Iād like to see Volkswagen make an EV with a similar shape. But then theyād put in their dumb infotainment system, so forget about it. š
It kinda says a lot about Tesla that they just suddenly dropped the price when this released. How much is Tesla price gouging the public that they can drop the price about $20000 without changes to the car to make it cheaper to manufacture? Not only that from what I saw the interior is about the same quality as a 90ās Toyotaā¦.
i wish manufacturers could give customers the option to remove/delete the 2nd row and have a nice roomy 3rd seats. most 3rd rows are (almost)useless
"Stay away from freaky!"
Sorry but only 220 miles of range, plus itās ugly as hell from the outside. š¤·āāļøš¤¦āāļø
Honest Review like always , its appriciated
Iām just happy Andrea is wearing a dressā¤, itās been a long winter:)
Interior looks outdated with those gaudy looking air vents. I liked those vents when first introduced years ago but now I prefer more the minimalist designs.
350 kms range? I guess MB didnāt get the memo 500 kms is the industry benchmark.
Personally, itās becoming annoying everything is compared to Tesla. Tesla is a great tech company but their cars suck. Iāve had 2. One the honeymoon is over, the divorce isnāt far away. EVs are here to stay and the legacy automakers are FINALLY on boardā¦ sooooo many better options than Tesla. The best point of this video is MB pricing is way off. MB never has been a āwow this is a great dealā brand, but this makes you feel cheated. When your $28K Ford Maverick truck has more options than your $65k Benzā¦ weāve got some problems lol.
Wow!!
This very impressive review well done to both of you.
Looks all around amazing!!
Most EV owners have a level 2 charger so daily commuting is doable. Hopefully battery tech and charging locations will improve so that road trips are possible. Until then Iāll commute using my Civic Si and take my truck on longer road trips
Love the interior and powertrain, but the exterior looks like a hearse….
Styling is so much better looking than MB's EQE or EQS models. Much less "freaky".
Looks like a London taxi cab from the side profile. Not a very attractive car.
Leatherette upholstery at that price?
They probably don't have enough supply, so no need to lower the price. Having said that, in Canada this model should be below $70K. The range is not a big deal for many, you just might have to plug it in more frequently. At least you don't have to visit a gasoline station, but prep extra time for those longer trips.
I agree with @patrick7228. How many people take trips of 300km plus nowadays. The furthest I drive is 55km to work one way. This Mercedes is just a square box and does not appeal to me. It still looks normal compared to some new EV's. There are more choices for electric cars but they are not readily available. I have to order one, wait upwards of 3 years (Hyundai Ioniq 5) or less and pay the dealer markups. The days of going to a car lot and picking a car is not available. Who can afford $75,000 – $150,000 or more for an electric car? How long is the battery going to last compared to gas/diesel vehicle.
I own this vehicle and so far i love it. Great review. Agree with your comments and opinions. One take from an owner; this car is FUN to drive.
I'm not very passionate with Mercedes at all
0:15, 2:30, 3:20, 4:40, 8:35, 10:35, 12:33,
The big difference for me is the Audi Q4 starts at $59k CAD, and that means it qualifies for the $5k iZEV federal EV rebate. The EQB 350 4matic at $75k CAD which means you don't get a dime off the price for it, and also the battery at 66.5 kWh usable is far less than the Q4 e-tron 77 kWh usable.
I voted with my wallet and took delivery of a Q4 e-tron Technik a month ago, and while the EQB 350 was initially on the shortlist (ruled out the Model Y LR AWD due to shoddy build quality and not wanting to fund Elon Musk) but the Audi is far superior in value, more range & still being a nice car overall.
It's not like 6.2 0-60 is that impressive. The range is about 1/2 the gasoline car. Probably another half that on -20C It costs about 10K more than GLB 250 gas. Some cars are sold w/o power seats due to shortage of chips. Who knows what else is missing or will be unavailable when the warranty is out or even while under warranty. Definitively best to avoid
If anyone wants this exact vehicle, I have one avaiable in a 2022 Ex demo in victoria BC. same packages, same colour, third row seats! Phenominal accerlation yet so smooth. Its practical luxury in an EV!
Really solid review, love that you gave good pros and some serious considerations of the negatives and potential for it being a stop gap. Thanks for the good review
You forgot Rivian has a 7 seater big space
I went to look at this and thought man it was so ugly. Are people buying these blind or so desperate to compensate with the three pointed start that styling no longer matters.
Iām in the market for an EV, considered the EQB 350, but the range and charge speed are just too bad. And the tiny screens too. Mercedes really needs to step up their game on this.
Exterior is not ready. Sorry Mercedes
These two are cheesy, old school likes and no style. Mercs are overpriced rubbish.
Range got better at 2025 and definitely deserves the money.
Mercedes should make the second-row seat with two captain seats and the third-row seat with a 3 seat bench seats. I hate to claw in and out of the third-row seat.
