That’s roughly 5.5k miles a oil change
1 million is that all. Way low.
my 01 accord has 350k original miles 5 speed
I had driven long distances with the 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 9th. The 4th with fabric seat was the most comfortable in my opinion.
Easy to steal too! No key immobilizer for Accords before 1997. Probably most of this generation been gone in 60 seconds….
The 86'-89 Accord had way better quality than the 90'-93' Accords.
I had a 90 that needed a new transmission at 14K. I kept it to about 70k.
Such a touching story. My '97 is at about 355,000 miles (I make a vid every 25k miles if you want to see). I have some people that think I am crazy for taking it cross country all the time, but it hasn't really let me down! (I did have a sensor go, but overall pretty good)
Nice review about this long lasting car I wonder about 72 tires or tire set if it is tire set will be much costly but I think tires each time probably 2 tires total of 36 tire set of 2 tires make since as tires recommended to be changed either complete set or two tires in each axile which make since
All the accords if driven and maintained like this should ALL be capable of 1 Million and above miles.
These cars predates planned obsolescence and aggressive DIY lock out tactics.
Fun fact is virtually all of the 80's and 90's Honda will last as long as this.
All the F, J, H, B and D series are seriously built honestly and fit for purpose with many examples out living their owners interest, driving career or the owner themselves.
Not over engineered or over designed (convoluted parts removal, locked un-serviceable parts etc) like today's cars that keep lights on or unnecessarily go to limp mode to annoy and make you go to the dealer.
My daily is a 2004 Subaru Outback. H6 engine with awd its a beast in the snow. 220,000 miles and still going.

Handa's last a long time!, And Handa's are very reliable cars!
How far can 1.5L turbo CVT go?
This is not a car anymore, more like aeroplane.
I just bought a 2001 Civic with 220,000 on it. The interior and body are immaculate and as far as the engine and transmission. It's a manual and previous owner had the clutch replaced not too long ago and it shifts perfectly, no grinding or slips. The engine was having some idling issues, which she told me about. I discovered that the valve cover gasket has been replaced not long ago while I was changing the spark plugs and I found that when they installed the valve cover back on, the gaskets that seal the spark plugs tubes on the inside of the cover got pinched between the metal and all 4 of them were soaked in oil where the coils connect to the plugs so in fixing that and needs an EGR valve. Pretty soon it will need struts and pads and rotors probably but all normal stuff as far as I'm concerned except the gasket, honest mistake probably but Honda makes the best cars on the road in my honest opinion. I had a 91 Integra years back. That's been my favorite car I've owned ever
Exactly like my first car I had. ‘91 LX Laurel Blue Metallic. So much fun to drive and made countless memories. Sold it in 2014. Only had 250k miles. Still drove solid.
Original engine, transmission, battery, oil. Took great care of it
Just the way that car looks, tells me that guy had major OCD
Seen a 2013 civic with 5spd tranny with 500000 miles
It's made with decent metals, not like the todays junk cars.
My 89 accord dx has 499,585 miles on it right now
I wish my Camry 2005 reaches 1 million too, so I will never have a chance to drive any other cars for the rest of my life…
I have a '01 Camry with only 93k miles. Hope I get hi miles, too!
My Morris Minor 1958 had a million miles. Slow car, but always started. They are still on the road!
Sure a lot in maintenance but I'll bet cheaper than buying a new cars more frequently.
And its an Automatic 😮😮😮
I have a 92 Honda Accord with 177,000 on it…i thought i was doing something
My 2017 V6 Accord going strong at 262K miles. Only had to get a new gas cap 😂
Chang your fluids helps the most
I was expecting you guys to drive it, but I gez Honda doesn't to put a mile on this well preserved accord…. 🙄
he change tires every 13000 miles, that's overkill.transmision oil changes at 34k
That's amazing, too bad it has that ugly blue interior.
Not to bad, I’m assuming that’s a 1990 accord. So that’s roughly 44k miles a year to hit that mark.
So $85700 in maintenance
My 92 LX has 424K and still rolling. I'm the second owner for the past 25+ years and love it.
Car went a million miles without paint being messed up by stupid stickers on the back
Imagine driving a shitbox to the point the maintenance costs surpassed the price of the car itself
You mean to tell me the 93 Accord I bought in 94 would still be the only car I needed this whole time?! Well, damn
IMO, the best Accord ever made. As a kid, I was dismayed when I witnessed the all new 1994 Honda Accord.
67 miles Honda accord across the lot, what’s the story behind that? lol
I think most accords manufactored in Uk and exported to america until closure 2021 with the last civic rolled off and exported to the states
