There's only one real game in town for a true decent ev with chargers and software…. Tesla.

All depends on the Electricity available to charge all the EVs.

There is no such thing as a Zero Emission Vehicle. The real question is, where are the emissions associated with the electric car? Because what you do with an electric vehicle is you don’t eliminate emission, you export them somewhere else. You have to dig up 500,000 LBS of materials to make a single 1000 LB battery. It takes 100-300 barrels of oil to manufacture a battery that can hold 1 barrel of oil equivalent of energy. Just manufacturing the battery can have a carbon debt rate ranging from 10 tons to 40 tons of CO2. And the plans that are in place to increase the use of batteries will require an increase in production of minerals like lithium, cobalt, zinc. Demand for those minerals will increase between 400% and 4000%. There isn’t enough mining in the world to make enough batteries for that many people for their cars.

Electric Vehicles Are A Dangerous Safety Hazard To The Blind.

Here is something the Go Green/Alternative Energy activists don’t want you to know, and won’t tell you of which throws a monkey wrench into the works and also upsets their Go-Green/Alternative Energy Agenda’s if this information ever got out of the bag.

The truth they don’t want to be known and don’t want to tell you is that in most cities the crosswalk’s electronic equipment at intersections emits an audio tone of beeps of which the blind use in safely crossing a street.

Also unlike a fossil fueled vehicle with an internal combustion motor, Electric vehicles of all types are generally very quiet of which creates a dangerous safety hazard due to noise from heavy traffic upon busy city streets.

The blind cannot generally hear electric vehicles due to the noise of heavy traffic and especially if they are concentrating upon the crosswalks audio tone of beeps to help guide them safely across the intersection.

I'm betting upon two things –

(1) Most people don't care as it will upset their own agenda of going Green in their own enthusiasm of owning an electric vehicle of which they have been Brain-Washed by the Go-Green/Alterantive Energy Activists into thinking and believing is the greatest invention since the invention of the wheel.

– And –

(2) Most people will not pass this information along (share), so that others will be aware of it as well.

Other than Kia and Hyundai.. all those car gonna be 70-100k+ which means ain’t nobody gonna be buying them. Or at least not the middle class.

Electric cars are coal powered car

At some time, manufacturers/marketing personnel involved in the BEV industry will have to change their motto re: climate change and greenhouse gases when it comes to sale/production of these automobiles.

We would hope that with lowered pricing for batteries and increased range plus the advent of more affordable electrical power that persons would consider the economy of use of these vehicles. In the end, that is what matters MOST when a purchase of significant size is made, i.e., the personal ROI.

Only a very small number of persons will purchase expensive automobiles to save the earth, really. The argument is quite plainly silly and not likely to provide the switch from ICEs to BEVS. Economy and utility will be all that matters.

Really, not even going to mention Tesla?

None of these cars will be affordable to most car buyers. The real story is which cars will be $25,000 or less and have fast charging. These are the cars that will make the EV car market explode!
