For the sienna van v6, be sure if over 80000 mi, that the water pump has been replaced. Dealer said this may cost more than a thousand to replace
Vvti rattle in my 3.5 Sienna is the end of it. Shop fee to fix it is far too high. There are no guarantees
I paid $3000 for a 2002 small Tundra with passenger cab V8 truck. Then had a 9 point inspection done. ✅ Including advice on its all matching tires ✅
$5000 for the inspection and parts etc…
Costco gas. 👍
Perfect EVERYTHING for my driving ❤ pleasure.
I bought a new slide in camper Northstar…

Is wizard wearing Hoka runners
Beware of these newer vehicles with electronic emergency brakes. Good luck with all the electronic failures of so many vehicles these days. Certainly won't be lasting as long as a steel cable. Sounds pretty dangerous to rely on electronics in deadly dangerous situations. Defeats the whole purpose of emergency brakes.
3 liter toyota engine uses a timing belt. But is a non-interference engine. So if the belt breaks it won't destroy the engine. But 3.3 is an interference engine. So if belt breaks it will tear itself apart. 3.5 went to timing chain.
When i sell my used cars i never sell to the people who check all the little switches i know they will not buy and it is just annoying. Hell i wont even give then a discount just because…
I would like a review of the Toyota sienna’s
My tire mismatch was due to an NTB warranty replacement of an obsolete line of tires. I had never seen a Continental tire sidewall bubble until I purchased an “exclusive set” from NTB. Never again.
Car wizard with the banana shoes.
I was expecting to hear about the models/years to avoid due to the sudden acceleration problem. Anyone knows that?
So basically buy a new Car got it. Not wasting my time..
You always talk about how good Toyota is, but I never hear you talk about Honda. I have many friends who have gotten over 400k miles on theirs. They have also told me how reliable they are. I would like to hear your take on Honda.
This is just common sense and applies to every used car not just Toyotas. What is the purpose of this video?
Surprised you haven’t seen a lot of blown head gaskets in the 3.slow
Quick lube shops love to break the ears off of those Toyota oil filter housings. I have seen them break the ears off of the metal housings too. Another issue is that the Quick lube shops love to over torque oil filter housings.
Every car I buy ,I always check the bottom under carriage of cars , bad bad rust, I've seen nice cars ,but the under carriage was eaten with rust.
🤣 if you are buying a used car and bitch about floor mats then you need a new care not a used one
In many cases bank holds the title. What when?
Awesomeness, as always!
Bought used Corolla hatch from dealership (won't ever again, lesson learned luckily cheaply) and YES where WTF are my mats? Got cheap ones from Autozone and they started to pull the fabric fibers from the carpet. Went with a exact fit 3D printed and much happy now but poor carpet took a small bit of damage.
Any advice welcome
Looking at 1999 4runner 4×4 limited automatic tomorrow
3,000 dollars firm
290,000 miles
They say everything works well

The floor Matt goblins are wealthy
Ask them to sit outside the vehicle lol
That about the embleem is not alway true, I always remove them they are ugly…
Once you go through all of that, proceed to negotiate the $2000 price and see how that works for you…. Lol
2012 – 2016 Camrys bad torque converters from the factory. Ticking time bombs. Been there done that. Just don't. You can thank me later.
Also, get the VIN search recalls and problems. Call a Toyota dealer and ask if there are any CSPs on the vehicle. Stands for Customer Service Program. This is code for an undercover recall. Go to Toyota Forums and search problems and the name /model# of the vehicle. This will tell you a lot. I found this out the HARD way afterward.
How good is the Toyota fj cruiser?
Relaying on my experience I would never buy a Toyota. I bought a new one, three days after I took delivery in broke down the first time. The vehicle was stuck 165 times the first year. If this is considered reliable then your definition of reliability is different to mine. Another thing is maintenance of a Toyota is prohibitively expensive expensive. It is a bottomless pit.
