LOL. Hennessey aren't a car manufacturer, they're a tuner who builds shit-handling kit-cars with gigantic engines that only go fast in a straight line. They didn't "Destroy Bugattis Record" because the record was for production cars. The Venom GT does not qualify as a production car.

Less than 1 mile per hour difference in single direction run. I bet Hennessey didn't race with a headwind so I would place my money on the Veyron being the quicker car. To say the Hennessey smashed the Bugattis record is bollocks.
i remember when lotus came back to F1 after a 10 years plus brake and right away they were up there in the top 10 instantly with a low budget yet big companies with 50 times their budget struggled to finish lol Lotus are an epic company

Sorry, not a supercar, or an American supercar, body work is competely European.If we start peeling off parts, most would not have been made in the US. And Bugatti, whether I like the VW group or not, can do its speeds anywhere, no prep required. I would still rather have the Koenigsegg, for its reliability, engineering and consistency.
Hennessy the man sounds about as far from the legendary Caroll Shelby personality as you can get. I’ve heard so many unpleasant things about him, his poor reputation hit headlines faster than his supercar hits the 1/4 mile 😂
