I am one of those people. Drove 2010 S for 7 years and then switched to 2023 HeV. Only complaint I have with honda is they discontinued black colour. One thing thats wrong in the new model is back seat. They added head rest for middle passesger but forgot to leave space to sit

Honda City is one my favourite but the Honda Civic and Toyota Corolla will be dearly missed.
I agree that they lacked features, were overpriced and weren't as fun to drive as Slavia or Virtus but the low and tension free maintenance more than made up for it including their solid reliability and high durability.

Our car journey has been quite a rollercoaster! We replaced our Ford Fiesta with a 3rd gen Honda City for 5 years, then switched to a grand i10 in 2016, hoping for the ease of an automatic. But that decision led to regrets after just 3 years, missing the comfort of a bigger car and sparking the urge for something new.
Finally, in December 2020, we got the Seltos GT for longer commutes, giving the i10 a rest from long hauls. But the i10 started acting up right after we got the Seltos, and the service quality kept getting worse, which was beyond frustrating.
Jump to 2022, we were on the hunt for a daily driver to replace the i10. Unexpectedly, the City made a comeback! We were initially checking out the Honda Jazz and even booked it. However, the City hybrid caught my father's eye, and with the Jazz delivery delays, he couldn't resist the temptation for the City hybrid. Surprisingly, we got it before we would have gotten the Jazz!
Our car journey has indeed been quite an experience, and the City once again demonstrated its irreplaceable appeal. It's difficult to part ways with it without feeling a sense of longing. The City's exceptional standards truly spoiled us, leading to its inevitable return back to our garage. Its presence is a testament to the comfort and reliability it brings, and we should be appreciative of that.
