I got the opportunity to use a GW 1/2 drive locking flex head breaker bar yesterday when doing the rear brakes on my ole truck. Man what a nice tool! Very solid good stuff
Jimmy with some Bruce Lee like mule kicks!
Alright jimmy I was wondering if you and Eric o and ivan from pine hollow auto diagnostics had a garage together you would rule the auto trade you would have a hell of a business paul from england πππ
Look forward to starting my day with a cup of coffee and a day in the shop
Jimmy lube attracts dirt….. But then again dirty grease moves better than rusted in place.
HHR conversion video will be out later this year. πͺ…π£ββοΈπ£ββοΈπ£ββοΈ
βGuys up north must walk around on crunchy floors all the timeβ exactly right. Doesnβt matter how much I sweep the shop there is always rust around on the floors.
What is the length of that Tekton 1/2 inch ratchet… Seems like it is longer than 24 inches… Always good to spend an hour watching you cheerfully work your day!
I have a cheap no name short barrel air hammer with the spring retainer. That little air hammer has been to hell and back and still works great. I engraved "Snap Off" on it. Come to think of it, I have a few "Snap Off" branded tools. π€£π€£
Lets get it to 10k subscribers by Monday!π¦Έπ¦Έπ¦Έπ¦Έ
Jimmy! Looks like I'm not the only one that still has my Mac PB19 28-inch pry bar. You should make a video about some of the tools that you've been using quite regular that you've had for 20-plus years. My big wrenches that I use for AC hoses have Crommer Chevrolet brake lathe engraved on them gee I wonder where I got those.
Jimmy! You're right nothing's worse than not putting the wheel lock key back. Or referring to it as the wheel lock also irritates me. Anyway I put it in my front pocket after I'm done putting the wheels on and I throw it in the bag with the keys when I turn in the repair order. That way the service writer also knows that I turned in the wheel lock key. Windy as hell here in Arizona today
Jimmy fixes EVERYTHING ,its all just nuts and bolts .
Hey I'm from QuΓ©bec as well. Yes please lubricate the bads. Up North salt and Calcium will eat your breaks!!!! Take care of our Snowbirds Jimmy!!!
Let's face it Jimmy,, the tool industry are a bunch of criminals.. they take the money off of your backbone it is sickning,, they know you make good money and with out Mechanics like you they make not much money,, that's why yes feel good about buying cheap tools.. and people wonder why they get charged so much money,, you guys got so much money in tools.. great video Jimmy..
Another awesome day, Jimmy, thanks! I'm glad I'm in the Southwest (NM). I prefer tumbleweeds over rust! And boy are they tumbling in this wind today.
Iβm a pretty good diagnostician but Iβve never learned to use a Hunter alignment machine (never needed to nor had the chance to). Would be great to own one but way too much $$$$$$!
You ain't kiddin about the European cars and certain requirements. My favorite is when a car has no gas in it and the manufacturer service procedure for performing a 4 wheel alignment starts with"fuel tank must be 3/4 full" π€ͺ silly engineers … and don't forget about the customer that keeps 300+lbs of random objects in the trunk and backseat weighing the car down excessively lol
Video the cars like they do at the dealership they have a series of cameras, camera bollards because they're walking the tite rope.
The rust typically builds up on the caliper bracket under the clips, so the theory is to apply the grease to the bracket & not so much on the hardware that the pads ride on. Another thing that is seldom mentioned is that the ears on the pads are not always flat. I usually file them flat so that the pads move freely.
The old Vett makes me appreciate fuel injection.
Do you like that astro underhoodlight. Do you have any complaints so far

"Doing a Scotty Kilmer and landing on the hose"… a much and well anticipated, well deserved and well earned burn. Props to all…..
I absolutely love the new copyright free music. Love the guitar riff, the bass line and a little bit of cowbell. Eff their imaginary lost cheddar. Wish they understood that exposure is their ticket.
Good job today Jimmy. I kno I give you a lot of flack for your chinaness but you honestly do a good job and youβre a good person. If you were even remotely close Iβd bring my car for you to work on. Be well Jimmy ChyNa! lol
The old mule kick trick. π
