I love my 2021 Camry SE AWD, and I owned a 2008 Accord which was Badass when it came out. Camry's 8 speed Transmission is a keeper, better than any vehicles CVT .

According to my research, Toyota is just one year behind Honda for building a sedan that nobody wants. The 2024 Accord no longer offers the Touring trim on non-hybrids. Coming in 2025, Camry's will be 100% hybrid. So it has nothing to do with what the buyers want anymore, but about what woke activists are demanding.
Give the camry the V6 and its Camry all day

Camry V4 is trash. If go with the XSE then has to be V6
go for whichever has a timing chain, you'll save yourself thousands in maintenance every 60K
It's all chocolate and roses until that CVT gives out on that Honda. I can't imagine the repair cost and with the added instant torque by the hybrid system is gonna put lots of pressure on it. Go to Toyota for the 8 speed.

I would hope the Toyota would be quieter.
Imagine how sad that would be if the Honda reading, taken holding it up high, in a more open area, possibly on a rougher road(as stated in the chart), AND at 5mph faster and STILL QUIETER, or even close…
Seams to me like their going to be very similar noise level, all things being equal.
E-cvt is a bit concerning however…
Is that a REAL transmission, or a cvt thats going to die on me costing thousands in a few years like a Nissan?

The Camry has remote start on the key fob (for life like the accord). Maybe you dont know how to remote start the Camry with he key fob. Press the lock button 3 times and hold it down on the last press. You'll see the all the lights blink and it'll start.
