Only 44 SV's came to the US, very interesting.
I was never really that big of a fan of the Murciélago. When they first came out in '02, I was so highly disappointed that this was the successor to the amazing Diablo. To me, it just didn't look like what a Lamborghini should look like and was way too Audi-ish.
I kinda feel like many people felt the same way because these cars weren't really all that sought after at one point. I remember these cars could be had for very little money on the used car market because they weren't really that high in demand. I'm talking about the base Murciélago, btw.
Quite frankly, I didn't know the SV models and the gated manuals were produced in such limited quantities, which explains why they've become so high in demand over the last 10 years. I've grown to like them more than what I used to. Still don't care for the early introductory models, though.
I must admit that Ed has a nice collection. I love that Spyker C8 he has.
ED is not even close to the level to be running that YouTube plate 😂
I will never understand people that buy multiple cars of the same model… For me they are all but car enthusiasts
Bam Margera had a purple GALLARDO, NOT a Murci 🙂
Forever my #1 dream car, I remember as a kid seeing a gray SV driving around where I lived and just hearing that engine driving in person is something different. Always gives me chills to hear these scream at full throttle
Could listen to Ed for hours
My dad home State Georgia awesome garage and collection .love the south everybody waves to you and food.
He sounds like a radio announcer
There’s 1 sv in the whole of South Africa and it white
I think id take a real drivers car over the new tech and precision almost any day. cool video tho ed always seems like a cool guy
Ever since you first uploaded the sv launch control video years ago this has always been my dream car
If they were to make a documentary about the history of Lamborghini, Ed Bolian needs to be the narrator.
Love it
Its crazy that that in 2012 while on trip to Miami i was a young 17 car guy and wanted to sit and experience what it is like to sit in a Lamborghini. So i went to prestige imports and guess which car i got to sit in yes it was that red Murci SV(i even took some pictures). Never know that car was so special being one of one. What a crazy story. Awesome experience being able to hear the story about this car. I hope you are able to visit Adam LZ and Garret at the freedom factory. Would be so cool to see perspective of you behind a drift and drag car.
I'm with you on the ugly ass color black Ed!!!!!
That SV is 🔥
Thats why I'm not interested in thousands of special editions. In the past there was "the" special edition. Super limited. And thats it. You would know what you spotted as soon as you've seen them. Today there are so many special editons around, I dont keep track on them anymore. In the end, there are over 14.000 Aventador and I've seen countless of them.
"Kind of weird with the Ronald McDonald yellow calipers and stitching". Said whilst wearing a shirt with Ronald McDonald yellow panels and stitching 🤣
Well done Tim, a fantastic episode with Ed, Two true petrol heads driving amazing cars and talking all things automotive.
Hi Shmee
It's Bruce and Sandra now from BC Canada.
You should really come up and visit us.
The home of 2 white SV Kelowna.
Also, Jaguar F-type Project7 just to name
A few favorites. Parts are Not an issue as long as you maintain through Lamborghini as we do.
Oh yes we also enjoy our Gated Murcielago.
Hope to see you one day
Cheers
Bruce and Sandra Seabreacher Canada 🇨🇦
Oh yes, is corrected Ed , there is a way to open the SV if the doors are locked.
Just use your hip against the door at the exact spot and it will release the locking mechanism as long as you do one other thing
And you thought I was going to give that away.
Not
As another Ed that’s 6’6 I can feel for not fitting in the cars love so much lol
Lol the manual sv is in Wisconsin I got pics of it the guys old I can tell you where it is
21:23 no LFA is best sounding car
You know your a tosser when you have a car brand jacket 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I had thr opportunity to meet Ed at the vorsteinor sema car party. He took the time to really talk to me and joke around. He's truly a nice guy! Props to him. Hope i meet him once more
The wipers though, Tim … such a car-cliche mistake, but so funny 😅
Great, relaxing video 💯
Thank you, both 🙏🌎😬👍🏻
That merci SV always reminds me of hammond in topgear racing a SLR Mc laren 722 ❤❤
No sir!! Damon Fryer has the worst gated Murci coupe!!
Man Ed can talk his ass off 😂😂😂
That Spyker is just too cool. Dream car for sure. It would be a huge indictment on the car community if those don’t increase in value.
ed is such a character
Thanx you Shmee ❤
30:42 bam had a purple Gallardo on the gumball not a mercy. Ed’s got some incredible cars I can’t see it being too comfy with the knee out the window driving mind, driven a couple of Lamborghinis on experience days but the pedals have always been a struggle for me personally (size11) they’re made for tiny feet! The sound of an SV everyday mind is a sound I’d never get board of! Did you get to see any of ed’s gumball cars whilst you were there?
Love how Ed always "downplays" his cars.. regardless of them being super rare and just amazingly fixed up. Such a knowledgable gentleman, especially next to another one: Tim. Great combination of content creators.
Taylor needs to do some Juniper merch.
my favourite
Gotcha beat… 100k on a 12c spider.
5:02 me and Ed have the same problem, the supercar dream dies a bit when you actually get to sit in one when you over 6ft 5in, I remember sitting in a Gallardo for the first time at around 18 years old and the disappointment I felt.
