Sorry, the second and third gear chirps were you dumping the clutch on the fly wheel spinning slower than the wheels causing the wheels to slow down and skid. Not acceleration chirps.
Nice It can also be used in Pakistan
"slideways" gorgeous
Pronounce Celica correctly, please. And that car was slow, but cool to drive.
I had a 73 ST celica, I put a 5 speed from a 82 pickup, bolted right in, same drive shaft etc, I also put a small Webber down draft carburetor and a 2 inch exhaust pipe, it zoomed!!!
JAPAN マスタング セリカ👍
Monza / Pacesetter Exhaust.

Ha! “I swear that’s not a fart”. 😂
I think I ❤ Her
Nice car 👍🏻
Do another bean test after you empty out the trunk.
from the looks of your fingernails you're only in theory and not hands on.
Now that you have stripped the inside, what would it cost to blast the whole car with with a fine grit material? Particularly if you are going to re-wire only thing left is to remove glass.
Hot ! Trend setting ! Really enjoying your channel 🎉
Such a cool car this is, i was drooling over them back when i was hmm lets say not as old 🙂
I have always loved the celica. Glad to see younger generations taking interest.
Looks like a Monza muffler
Your so n alleged a ble on this car.
In '78, I bought my first car. A '71 Celica. It was baby blue. Painted it black and put Corolla wheels on it because it came with steel wheels with chrome wheel covers. A nice spec for this body style. I wish I didn't have to sell it, but I needed a truck for work. Miss that car bad!!!
I had a switch like that. In that same spot. I used it to switch from radio to 8-track. The 8-track fit into the glove box. Had Jensen Coaxials in the doors and Jensen Triaxials on the back shelf.
I have been following your later restomod on this car and just found this review of the stock car. How cool!
When I was 17 years old back in 1987 my first car was a 1975 Toyota Celica St with the 20R engine it had a 4-speed manual it was red with a black vinyl top and black interior I love that car I bought it for $325 I outran cops in that car in Des Moines , Iowa LOL
NO, the 2UZ is the right motor to swap. Gotta use Toyota running gear.
Thanks, Sarah!!!! Nice presentation. I had this car in the early 80s. I loved it and this really brought back all my memories. Could cry. It was a really beautiful car and pretty fast in its day. This car was and still will have a special place in my heart.
My 1992 Celica is a far cry from this 1974 model, but damn i still love it after owning for over 15 years!
Love that you love it. Great car
Likely Ansi on the rear can, or pace setter etc
I just watched this video and love that car. You gotta be the most amazing girl on the planet!
Toyota ad moment is like sam buying bumblebee

I love those cars.
This was my first car as well when I was a Senior in HS 1980. Mine was a 3 speed automatic. This video really brought great memories.
I love these old school Celicas. I remember back when these were new and they were referred to as Japanese Mustangs.
wow . some one got payed bags of cash , i like this car , but no one in there rite minds would rate it that high .
