2022 Model Y owner here; looking forward to ordering a Long Range Model S soon
True FSD is at least a decade away. Save your money folks.
Seriously hoping we get new colors soon. I’m loving the new silver color for the model y
Sorry, still overpriced.
OUR 2023 model Y – was perfect not even a minor imperfection or glue or bend or gap. Nothing just a perfect car 100% WILL buy another one soonest we r done paying this one.
Hi Ryan I really enjoy watching your very informative videos. I picked up my new Tesla Model 3 here in NZ on the 18th Jan after only ordering it on the 14th Jan so it was extremely fast. It was built in Oct 2022 so I was really pleased to find that it has come with the park sensors as I know they have since taken these off the Model 3. I am really loving the car and so enjoy driving it, the only thing I really miss is having a 360/panoramic view camera for parking as my other ICE car has this feature so it is taking me a long time to get use to driving into lined parks without this camera! I miss seeing the parking lines helping me to centre myself correctly and not being able to see what is in front of me. I so hope Elon eventually adds this feature over the air as the cameras are already there so it surprises me that this feature has not been added. Apart from that the car is awsome 😁
Would you buy a Model Y now or wait for 2024?
UPDATE: IRS MSRP Cap for Model Y tax credit is now $80,000 for all configurations. Model Y Base Price now $54,990
I don't immediately need a car right now. Am I better off waiting for 2024?
Y'all might wonder whyyy in my situation. I have a 2004 car and I'm thinking of finally getting a new car, therefore Tesla. But just not sure how pay wise goes, any advice?
@RyanShawtech quick question. did Tesla had referral program on cars, in the past? Is it stopped now or still going on?
Removing radar and ultrasonic sensors is a huge mistake in my view; purely camera vision based AI algorithms should not be trusted alone.
And the missing sticks on the wheel options is a nono for me; should be illegal without the blinker sticks. I would not be able to blink correctly reliably.
And I saw reviewers often not blink on videos, so they filmed committing crimes lol. Not blinking can kill people, e.g. roundabout, easy to miss the touch buttons. Ridiculous regression in such high technology cars.
Me not able to operate a vehicle correctly reliably is a no buy and definitely α no drive, meaning I would refuse driving such a vehicle on public roads even when I get it for free or someone else’s car.
If they would fix all mentioned, I would buy Cybertrunk once available and the new Roadster once available, maybe Model X or S Plaid, not sure which one of them.
Such nice cars, but those sad bumpers are for me a no until fixed, especially the wheel which has to be round, I forgot to mention above. If the purely vision based stuff may just work, I will criticize for the missing sensors, but this would not prevent me from buying. Missing stocks or sticks whatever they are called on the wheel alone sadly are a 100% no buy for me. I see some people might not care or whatever, or even prefer touch buttons if ridiculous or 100% able to operate them correctly reliably, but I do care about this detail; at least an option for that should exist.
Safety for others and myself comes first.
I don't have a garage at home to charge. The insurance is very high vs an ICE vehicle. For me EV's continue to be for well to do folks like you.
The Hyundai is a ugly car – I am not sure what they were thinking – it looks really bad – I understand that it has good specs but why would you be seen in that car.
Buying a Tesla now in March … qualifies for tax credit ???
Can you do a video on a used Tesla buying guide? Specifically like the 2019-2022 Model 3, like what to look for or check when purchasing. Thank you for your content!
Tesla lied. They're fully autonomous driving don't work with LIDAR which the new cars don't have due to chip shortage. They keep increasing the cost helping people don't get it. Get the basic plan which somewhat works well
If purchasing, can you get your 6 grand back within the first month of ownership?—in deleting that package
Tesla should sell superchargers for home users.
I love how the gray and red one look imma put this on my wish list
Is there sales tax on teslas ? I live in california
I have a Tesla model 3 for a 2 week rental . I LOVE the way car drives , smooth and fast (one of the fastest cars I’ve ever driven) . I also like the minimalist interior, technology and adaptive cruise control/autopilot… Things I wish were better : build quality seems suspect . I had to replace my 1st rental after I noticed the front plastic skid plate was dragging. Idk how it got that way (probably from last renter) but looking at the undercarriage, idk why Tesla would make it plastic. Also both my cars had water leaking from windows during rain. If I could get a TRUE SUV version of a Tesla with more ground clearance & higher cabin space (not have to duck down to get In vehicle) that would be the ultimate car… Something like a Tesla with a Honda Element body.
Not sexy ,America is sexy …go sexy u just saved a mill million, my 2 cents¥ a what looked to be a sport sedan Volvo is one of the sexier from the side I have noticed good luck and there is a God 😉
Sport is all in the gearing don’t u think?standard shifts are sweet with gear ratios fun drivers also on the way home
I am finishing up my X6 payments in August and this video brought life to my electric curiosities! Thanks for the vid.
Excellent video !
