Blue has always been a great color for Ford. Sharp looking car.
Cool story,like this
Kudos to the Sewell organization for offering more than the owners expected. That's a classy thing to do!
wow ah hide away hardtop
A fascinating story, thank you for bringing it to light Jerry.
I'd love to have a 57 Ford, any model except the retractable, to much wiring selenoids, activations. To many problems.
Awsome video. I would hope that you will put it on the show room with a story about its history. Sounds like you guys are a first class Ford dealer.
That car was built in 1957 the year that i came into the world.
The Sewell Ford license plate effect shot is done on a Nissan Pathfinder. LOL
Ok so how could it had been in the garage since 57 it is a 57 and has 89,000 miles. Really?
I had a 58. But I miss that one. I let it go to buy a house. 😩🤔🤦😵💫
I know sone one who restores them to Org
‘57 they had to many “bugs “ in them especially the electric. 😮🙄 58 way better by ‘59 they FINALY figured bout all the bugs. Then discontinued the model 🤔🤦🤣
I can’t believe that’s a 57 Skyliner, girl I knew in high school had one her parents bought for graduation. Was red and black
The most confusing video that I have ever tried to watch. Way too much extratainious information, sorry I just couldn't watch another second. 😖😖😖😖😬😬😬😬😬😈
I REMEMBER THE 1957 HARD TOP CONVERTABLE AT THE 1956 DETROIT AUTO SHOW , I STILL LOVE THAT CAR, I HAD A YELLOW AND BLACK FIFTY SEVEN YELLOW AND BLACK FAIRLANE 500. DROVE ON NAVY BASE 1961
MEMORIES ARE MADE OF THIS. THANKS
great car with a great story !!!!!!!
CarlSewell is a Cadillac dealer in Dallas, my first car was a Sewell car.
This car belongs in the showroom.
Love the story
all he had to do is have a garage built to put it in,, not that hard…
Would have rather seen it go to a private individual vers a dealership
These cars with the folding roofs were also called a "flip top box'. Produced in 57, 58, and 59 in that body only if I'm correct.
This is the most beautiful car ford ever made. So nice to see it.
The Toyota is a LAND CRUISER, not a 4Runner. You’re in the car business, you should know better, LOL
My dad had a ‘57 Fairlane, bought new. Loved the 2-tone. It was yellow on top and brown on the bottom. I loved that car!
That's awesome!, but if it was a 57 Chevy ragtop it would be, to purchase, astronomical!
Nice, I wish you hadn't broken the top opening into 6 seperate interrupted clips instead of showing the whole sequence.
young man needs to learn the difference between a Toyota Land Cruiser and four runner
the cars been in here since 1957….false at least 1990 because the woman said she rode in it.
Very enjoyable, thank you !
Does that son work or has he just been living off of the family money? I know the sons have after the dealer was passed down to them from their father.🙂👍❤️
Narrator sounds like Huell Howser
My Grandma drove this car as a coupe with Thunderbird engine! According to my father it was a "hot rod", I remember being in it as a little kid!! What a beauty!!
$25,000 is a ridiculous price for that car. In its condition it’s well worth $50,000. ‘57 skyliners are very rare.
What a Great Story and Beautiful Car! It’s an underlying story of 1957 Ford and the other Star of the Year 1957 Chevrolet had their Classic Impala out in the same year. They Really Made Great Cars Back Then!! Loved the Video!!
Greed on line
