🙂Great stuff!. One of your best video yet. As a collector of classic vehicles, I myself spare no expense in keeping my cars in absolute top order, simply because it adds to my enjoyment of classic vehicle ownership- They must be as perfect 👌 as I can make them, otherwise what is the point?………….
Do not let your coolant drain out onto your driveway! It can kill your pets and wildlife!! Stick it in a container and take it to the tip.
What an amazing child that could keep quiet for the entire demonstration.
Well done, team, an excellent guide for everyone whether or not they do their own maintenance. It is very enlightening to learn of all the potential faults to check for, and I could have saved $$$$ by buying another example of the vehicle I purchased, but it was basically good. I don't know whether Frankie's thumbs-up appearance was expected as Joe looked surprised, but it was a great finishing touch.
Interesting video 🚘🚙🚗👍👍👍👍👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
make a great teacher that bloke
Excellent video! The part explained at 15:00 is exactly what is happening to my XJ40. The control arm bushing are perished and loose. This means that the car eat its front tires within a few thousand kilometers and can't be aligned properly. That's the first big job I'll do on this car in the spring.
Am I terrible for sniggering at the registration of the XJ40? Reminds me of someone with loose morals.
Hallelujah! Someone who calls 'shocks absorbers' by their correct name….dampers. The road spring absorbs the shock, the damper damps out the oscillations. Good video!
Truly insightful video. Thank you for providing extra images with clear and distinct differences between worn and newer products. I will definitely return to this video when I have the possibility to get a 2nd car, which will likely be a pre-2000's car.
Really interesting and informative video.
I have done much of this myself but it's always good to keep learning.
Thank you for the brilliant content with all the needed topics covered. Even if you know what needs to be looked after in your car, this is a good reminder that serves as a checklist
Thanks 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
The only advice I would add to this excellent video is if you don’t have the room or the money for a four post lift don’t buy a classic car unless you’re prepared to lie on your back a lot on the garage floor!! Something that once you get the wrong side of 50 becomes pretty tiresome.
If you take care of your car, she will take care of you. Thumb up!
Great video lads ! ❤
Well presented and full of sound advice. More bench practice needed with the welding before being let loose on a car! Those bare arms would have an unhealthy suntan on a long welding session. Cover up! Comment below regarding lying on your back is very true. A four-post lift is certainly useful but if you don't have one (as I don't) even a shallow inspection pit is worth its weight in gold and needn't cost much.
