Hondas love Honda fluids
Good to see a meticulous technician doing all the little things removing & reassembling parts. If you do it right the first time you won't have to worry about it coming back for something you missed. Keep up the good work! That Topdon Phoenix looks like a pretty good scan tool.
You’re spot on with that Acura. Being a Honda tech, we’ve seen a lot of V6 torque converters on these 6 speed transmissions. Honda recommends to us to do 3 trans services and drive it a couple miles in between to help circulate clean fluid and help flush out all of the old fluids. I’d guess 75% of the time the triple trans fluid flush fixes this issue, the other 25% is either a torque converter or a transmission. If you do a trans service, Honda’s are very picky, I’d recommend using Honda/Acura fluid to be safe
