Not a chance I would of just left the entire subframe, engine and gearbox hanging by the shock bolts. Those bolts are not meant to take much weight, they essentially just keep the shocks located properly.
Invest in an engine bed or at least lower it onto a strong table before undoing the subframe bolts

5:20 That is true, there are 2 ECUs (DME_V1 and DME_V2). However each ECU controls one side of the engine (4 cylinders on each side). Gearbox funtions are usually partitioned to both ECUs, although DME_V1 is the master and DME_V2 the slave.
