My breadwinner girlfriend (whom has a daughter my age) has one.
She lets me drive it when I have my monthly appointments at the county building.
I like driving it around in S mode as I purchase designer belts off Aliexpress.
Hopefully she’ll let me straight pipe it.
Lost it with Mark downing that Hibiki.
Gag. What an ugly interior
Why is it that you can’t buy luxury cars any more, only lugsury cars?
You guys should review the BMW M340i
😆😆😆 I love this channel
thats a nice looking ford fusion
1:58 I can already tell the interior is crap. Jesus i test drove an E63 and it was a hunk of junk. Plastic creaking everywhere you look an touch. I was horrified. Im dead serious. Nothing like Mercs of old. Or an LC500 for that matter. And they wanted 130+k for it. Yea… i said nope.
Honda Accord
The wheels on this particular C300 are ass.
I was shopping in this class and ended up with a Stinger GT2 for $53k, I think it competes and is a heck of a deal.
Tried one of these, with decent option is easily 60k+ car. I was smiling the entire time in a 330i, didn’t at all in the C300.
1:39 Look at that vent fit and finish🤣
This doesn't compare with an ES. This is an IS competitor btw
This car is $60k without any cooled seats? Absurd.
sure to get BMW 330i or even 340i at this prices. this C class W206 generation is weird.
The front, the 4 pot, the fake exhausts… this is 30k car, not a 60k one.
3:10 big L mb thats some rice sh*t. You really shit on your fan base this generation
I wonder how is the headliner will hold up over time in this. 2015-2020 has a bad headliner issue on the pillars and MB is failing to adress it. I wonder how will this one hold up since this is MB and it should be held to higher standard. Ohter than that I think that car is unappealing especially with Korean and Japanese brands coming up with so much better for the $$$ and better quality standard. Mercedes is not how it used to be. The quality is not there and they just running on a reputation.
this has less aluminum than w205?
I bought one and love it… they did an amazing job with the car. It is basically an E350 and an S-class having a baby and they got the 2023 c300w
Interesting you talked about the lexus ES but not the lexus IS as a competitor.
Mmm. . .worth researching furter! Great review!!
Please do the M340I
Lolol wild mark
You guys never mentioned the A6? Thoughts?
Great review! At this price point and your insights, maybe I could see buying a MB! The G70 interior looks just plain cheap. Acura has that annoying track pad. BMW ride is too stiff for me. Like you said, the C class just might be not too hot and not too cold.
I hate that you guys and many others don't mention the Guilia in this market. A Veloce model is fully loaded and probably the most fun car to drive I've owned and I've had a bunch of sports cars. I said "fun" not fastest which definitely is hard for a lot of people figure out that fast doesn't automatically equal fun.
I just bought a C300 and I love it. I’ve had BMWs in the past which offer a little more sportiness but not as much luxury as the Mercedes. The interior technology takes a little time getting used to but offers so many options making it fun for the average tech type person. The ride is smooth and quiet. The engine and transmission interaction combined with the mild hybrid work seamlessly. I’ve owned my C300 for about two months and I’m getting about 26mpg in the city and over 34 on the highway. It’s a great small luxury sedan.
Gotta say, watching Jack alone has me hopeful for the future of this channel you know, since Mark is busy on his sexcapades out in the Caribbean islands, someone has to actually work…
Here in Europe (Romania) this C300 is price-equivalent to a similarly optioned BMW 330i and not to the 6-cyl M340i that you keep referring to, unless you get the M340i with 0 options added, which is insane. The M340i starts at €68k while the C400 and the 330i both cost between €64k and €67k after you add all the options necessary to make you feel like you're driving something premium (like the variant you've reviewed) instead of a box of missing features with a badge on, as is the case with their base versions.
The ES 300h in Luxury trim (with Mark Levinson sound and all the other nice features) is €73k. In theory, the ES being a significantly larger car, it competes with the 5-series and the E-class. In practice… you have to be a very special kind of person to get that ES as the interior, even though it's luxuriant, is dated, the tech in general is way below what the Germans have and the engine is just a (small) stable of dead horses.
In what world does the C300 come with rear wheel steering?
