What cars would you like to see Roadworthy Rescues work on next?
Excellent!
What 4 lugs are those?
Good ol Tanya harding 300…lmfao
Selten so eine dilettantische Arbeit gesehen. Das nennt ihr restaurieren?? Die Karre ist noch halb verrostet von innen. Schade um den schΓΆnen Mustang.
Really nice video of how you really can get that old car that's been sitting running and enjoy it… great video.
Did he just lick that thing for real?
Thank you for your beautiful job
Great video and all really enjoyed it but the amount of Hyundai ADs I had to watch nearly killed me
Tanya Harding 300. I will use this till I die lmfao.. much love from Toronto
Definitely not vicegrip garage, i pray and hope Derek this doesnt turn into one of those drama filled discovery channel shows like ice truckers gold mining people and the crab fishing guys, so much staged drama its just lame π
I didnβt catch what you did with the exhaust but itβs a great rebuild!!
Great show brother congratulations
Love your show
Great to see VGG and MT partnered! Looking forward to seeing the 'stang fully restored!
I subscribed for Derekβs input – nothing else.
Discovery and Mototrend are participating strictly for the profit. Theyβre responsible for showing half of a story beginning with deadliest catch and motor trend is just full of advertisements. As long as youβre βpaying β to say it- MOTO TREND will not only print it, they will support your statement. Just keep paying!Iβd love to be able to afford some space in a periodical to give my βExpertsβ opinion- not mine but βmy expertsβ
Media is another example of controlling the information that is available.
These βpromotersβ donβt look out for you and provide information that is beneficial to YOU. They say anything they want. Thereβs no accountability and the information goes out to millions.
Iβve been following VGG for years now. Iβm very curious to see how MOTOR TREND will try to βinfluenceβ Derekβs style of presentation.
Guaranteed Iβll find VGG to be what Iβll continue watching.
I have a dream always to have mustang own.β€
This is so satisfying
Freindly budget… i like that..
The fact that you just jumped into that car like that LOL
Rotate the engine clockwise I reckon
this looks so sketchy
Bravo sir, you are a legend. ππ Great segment, keep this type of stuff comin. π
Huh, I don't like the formality of it compared to VGG
I like old mustang when you stop in a traffic light everybody smell gasoline and rats smelling every where. She. You try to find spare parts you always find a rusty one. But broken
Great video π
What a Mustang sat all those years youve given it a heartbeat again sits pretty on road fantastic
First time viewer of motortrend, but I've watched every episode of VGG at least 10 times, so if Derek's in it, I'm buying the season. lol, this is the most entertaining down to earth feller I've ever seen. Keep up the A1 content, my dude!
good for you!!
That car was parked from the day I was born
1995
28 years old
Love Vice Grip Garage and Derek! This fell-ette is a huge fan!
my nephew has my dads 1967 caddy rag top with extra motor so trying find out i he still
has it
its cranking even, like the compression is the same * plugs out laying on the car* π€£
Thank you for showing the fact that its still possible to get a car running and enjoy yourself by " Drive it and fix it as you go ! ". Please stay true to your original self !
nice show , humor unmatched . got me to sub
Should have put a V8..
The pony really turned out GREAT MAN VERY GOOD JOB DEREK!
a mustang ll
Can you please do a 1980s Ford F150 to rescue next?
Makes no sense to waste labor harvesting used brake parts from the other Mustang given the price of new parts, but this comment should be taken with a grain of salt because his show is still totally ππ»ππ»ππ»
Console is a rare option.

I think I'm going to like this show, but come on dude it's a Ford Mustang, show it some respect.
Free the brakes first by tapping the brakes lightly with a hammer, it's a scrap yard trick that I've seen a few times in my life.
Put the driver's side window down and rachet strap both internal door handles together to help keep the non locking drivers door shut.
Dragging it out with sized brakes could of been avoided.
Car of my choice if you can find an example is a Plymouth Fury ie Christine car.
Oh by the way dude cut the chatting down a bit would be nice.
