Thank you so much for your excellent and thoughtful car content. I appreciate every new upload. I have said it for a year and still mean it. Your videos are so well done, you have true and important perspectives every time. Happy to catch this video and I absolutely hope you have a great day. Thanks again for your professional content. Thank you Mark!
I purchase cars for use, the value to me is using it so I can make more money. If I wanted an wealth retention I would purchase Gold, Silver or Land.
This gotta be the biggest downer channel on YT… Jesus!
Well, I don't view cars as an "investment" anyway.
I see you're in Western Canada. Don't you think you should differentiate between warm weather areas and cold weather ones. I live in California and drive Audi A8's and have had several
Lexus cars through the years without any problems. My cousin who lives in Edmonton, Alberta had to replace the water pump on his Lexus at 80,000 miles. Unheard of in California.
And don't get me going on electric vehicles and cold weather.
33 illumination 😞😞😞
For those who can and are willing to afford the original tag price of these new cars, do you think they really care about the depreciation?
Wonder what percentage of customers actually buy these luxury cars like Audi and BMW versus leasing them. I see an awful lot of people driving them who don't appear to be ..ummm..upper income individuals.
Your video is very true. I wish I knew before I bought my 2017 x3 loaded msport brand new. I wanted to sell it before problems arise. Carvana wants $22300 when I paid $56k plus tax. I have 31k miles on it. Depreciation amount could have of a new Honda car.
King Toyota Honda , Mazda are laughing
Liberal popularity 😂
What car new can be sold with almost no depreciation after five years? I mean…not an exotic in limitation production, but a normal car, luxury, non-luxury etc
Jaguar XF … 4 cylinder you say…
Planned Obsolescence Engineering
👍
I really love your Show!!…
European cars = Money pits
The last 5 is very accurate. Basically disposable cars.
Jesus Christ constantly trash talking great cars 😱
Why cars have summer tires on when it's snow outside.?
I was a car salesman in California in the early 90s; started with Chevrolets, Toyotas and ended up at Volkswagens.
Ever, since then, I would never own an Asian car.
The most boring, bland, and unexciting cars on the planet. And no, they’re not that reliable as people like to lie about them.
Flimsy built, cheap materials, etc.
5:12 They love it for its Edsel-esque grille over 50 years too late.
what dealer are you at – please – i see a car i want to buy

Keep up this pithy presentation, full of sobering points to ponder. Your brevity is what hooks me continually.
I can’t understand that in your previous video you said that if we buy G63 AMG brand new we will going to lose only 20% of its value over 5 years and for this S class you are saying that we will lose 52% also the maintenance cost of G63 is much higher than S class. Can you explain thus.Pkesse don’t give wrong information
OUCH 😂👍🏾 !
Your camera work sucks…..
I take reliability over fun any day everyday
Too many Mexicans and blacks driving around Cadillac Escalade here in CALIFORNIA…. it hurts with resale value since not many wealthy people want to be associated with a car brand that is popular black and brown people….. the whites and the Asians drive most Lexus here in CALIFORNIA, and certain models of Mercedes and BMW along with Acura and Infiniti….. southern California is the capital of Lexus….. you see as many Lexus as you do with Starbucks or McDonald's
Consumer reports rated the really high 😂
