It should be right over the axle… all that weight on the front on the trailer puts more weight on the back end of the truck lifting up the front. Which isn't a good thing either.

One problem youβre not pointing out is youβre increasing tongue weight on your trailer by forward loading, if you overload the tongue you could cause the front to sag and it will be scraping or over stressing the materials and if theyβre not rated to handle the weight you put on them you risk damage and breaking.

It depends on the weight of your load, vehicle, trailer etc if your load is only half a ton but your vehicle is a 3 ton truck then it probly wont matter where the load is

Why is the trailer so long just to have a go-kart on it? Shorter trailer= problem solved

The weight is best placed straight over the axle on the trailer.
