..2:06..'61 Starliner..Sunliner was the convertible…2:14.."52 Chevy..'53 had the updated styling, like a '54…4:00..that's a '62 Ford, probably a Galaxie..9:05..THAT'S a '53 Chevy..the tail lights say it's a '53, '54 had different tail lights..otherwise very similar..10:01..'46 Chevy..11:48..'66-'67 Ford Fairlane..hard to tell which with front end gone..14:49..'54 Chevy Bel Air..'53 grill was different..
Not a 66 impala it's 67 or 68
Hope you get the ones you want! Did you run into Mr. Goodpliers? He did a walk around video of the same lot.
I'm a ford guy 4 life
I think those Pontiac 4 door hardtop doors fit 56 and 57 chevies.
Bet some of those brought good money, like the 60 and 61. Do you know what the good 55 Chevy 4 door brought? Good walkaround
A lot of vintage iron. But like you said, they were pretty rough and most of them were only good for parts. I saw a comment saying that they all could be restored. Technically anything CAN be restored…but at what point does it become too expensive and a waste of money that you will never get back? Thanks for the video Ryan
That 55 Chevy was well worth making a driver. Running gear for the tri fives are easy to find. 👍🇺🇸
Yay a new tour with Ryan !1:14 – '58 and surprisingly a Fairlane, not a Fairlane 500. You see these less often, as they are not top of the line and are less probable to be restored. 1:27 – that was a Custom 300, the 210 equivalent at Ford, agreee on the classic factor of blue&white paint 1:53 – Starliner. Has the stars already ripped off, can see the mounting holes at C pillar. Quite sexy for a Ford. 3:46 – a '62 Galaxie in a DIY kit 😉 5:48 – the bat wings we've been waiting for ! 9:38 – damn! Hudson, what did they do to you ?! 10:52 – hi Bel-Air ! 11:59 – has the new, squared rear fenders already, so iit's '64+, previous ones were running '62 Chrysler's rear fenders. 12:54 – Edsel ! And the top of the line model, Citation ! With it's own, Edsel side mirror. The other one is "small" Edsel, with Ford's glass – the Pacer 14:24 – if a hardtop, then Belvedere. Seems to have been sexy black on red one. 18:11 – didn't you already have too many cars ? 😉
red car was a Galaxie/ Starliner and blue car is a Fairlane
so many great projects. would love all those 63 and 64 Galaxie's and couple of those Ford trucks!! some nice wagon projects too
ICC,, GREAT VIDEO!! MY 7YR. OLD MAX AND I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS WE KNOW CARS BECAUSE THE FAMILY ONLY DRIVES OLD CARS .. WE HAVE A 1978 BUCK SKYLARK,, CAR SHOW, ALL PUMPED UP ON THE ROAD AND RACING AT IRRIWINDALE SPEEDWAY LA.CA. AND GOT A 1958 DODGE CUSTOM ROYALE MEAN GRILL,, SWEEP WINGS IN BACK.. I THINK THAT CAR YOU DIDNT KNOW TAKEN APART WAS A 1962 FORD GALALIXY..THANKS ,, RYAN…GREAT OLD CARS SAD HOPE THEY GET A GREAT HOME…
You seem to be primarily a GM (in particular Chevrolet) buyer. It's what you like and have carved out a niche for restorable late 50's to mid 60's GM products. That said, I was glad to see you acknowledged the Edsel units. Edsel cars are cool. An occasional non-GM might not be a bad thing at all.
Cool stuff Ryan. 😎👍😎
Hope you were able to get a few goodies…stuff I saw that I had to comment on:
1:53 '61 Ford 2 door post sedan, that would be nice to have and I see glass is available for it clear or green tint all around
3:01 I didn't know those early A bodies (F-85 you showed for example) had 4 lug wheels???
5:50 love that two tone four door post '59 Bel Air even if it is rough it's pretty complete
6:30 another unique builder there, that '56 Mercury sedan, though I think the Mercury I'm MOST interested in finding would be the first full size six cylinder model, the 1961 Meteor, with that 223 Ford "Mileage Maker" six in it (sure, the '60 Comet had a six but that was a compact) maybe a '62 Monterey Six (as the '62 Meteor became a midsize like the Fairlane) would be good as well, no tailfins on either of those models, not that I don't like tailfins just that they don't suit these cars
7:43 as hideous as the '61 Plymouths were when new, is as awesome as they are now, the tail light "pods" do it for me
11:11 I think out of the 50s Fords, the '56 is my favorite, first year for 12 volt electrics, but not as overdone as the 57 or 59, the 58 at 15:54 is a nice compromise
11:45 not a fullsize Galaxy but a midsize Fairlane, think 66 might be right, maybe 67
12:05 I see that Rose Glow over Dark Red 77 or 78 Thunderbird back there even though you skipped that whole line, side note 1978 was the best selling year of ANY Thunderbird to date kind of like the '65 full sized Chevy was the best selling year they ever had
13:48 that '58 wagon looks like a great start to a project family cruiser
15:59 I sure do like the '60 Fords as well, I think they share most sheetmetal with the super low production Edsels of their last year
17:32 another nice '56 in the background, green/white two tone looks good (may have missed this elsewhere)
22:08 the "Thunderbird" engine in '56 was a 292, and then what they called a Thunderbird Special (for top rung Fairlanes and wagons) was a 312, both Y-blocks
23:13 so hard to find un-messed-with basic Chevelles anymore, or people want SS396 money for them, I'd take a '66 base sedan myself in lieu of a '65 Biscayne for my next project
@ 16:30 – '60 Impala 2dr hardtop "parts car" my @$$. It takes parts cars to build these cars. Just because you mom is worth more for parts….. Take a gander and see what these cars are worth. Just because a car might have floor issues doesn't automatically deem them as parts cars. WhyTF would you call that car a parts car?
The third car you showed is a 1958 Ford Spring Special .1958 was slow year for car sales so Ford brought out these mid year cars with special financing to boost sales .
Ya Mr good pliers was there
A lot of treasures! 😍
i emailed you but no response???????????????????????????
0:50…I'm surprised nobody procured the suicide knob off that old school Chevy truck.
2:14…That "'53 Chevrolet" is actually a '52.
11:27…Dang! I wish you had filmed a full 360 on that turquoise '61 to '63 ragtop QT bug!
How much did Herbie go for at the auction?
12:13…LTD or Galaxie? Only 1971 LTDs had wall to wall taillights, which I liked.
16:10…Those dagmar rubber nipples are worth saving! Not all '57s came with those.
20:28…The 1977-79 Mark Vs were the longest 2 doors from Ford ever, the last of "unLTD ultra personal luxury yachts." The Mark VI introduced in '80 was a shrunken down Mark V.
22:42…"Seats are nice" ('58 Edsel)…only when compared to an absolute murine hotel.
Good luck, hope you're able to snag that 61 Bubbletop!, a car that has been on my list for a long time, but even rough projects bring big money by comparison to others
Really odd collection there but I would think the blue car beside the VW to me look like a mid-60s Ford Fairlane
Omg 😱🤯🥺😵. I love them 2 58 EDSELS I need 1 for parts, I wish I could go n buy it., 🤠😉👍 But I'm quite a, ways. Where/what town is this at, and when are they selln these cars????? Great video👍👋
Hey Ryan, thanks for the vids. I enjoy seeing all these cars and yards. I need a favor if possible. I have early buckets but not sure if they are impala correct. Can you measure a bucket seat bottom and top width for me? Mine are supposedly 62 to 64. Not sure. Thanks
Ryan lots of decent choices, I like the 58 Edsel at the end, very complete and solid, 59 Belair looks complete and solid, Ford custom cab nice and solid, the Brookwood decent and complete a good rarer one to buy, 61 Impala for interior and some body parts, interesting to see what you pick, Also for a cat name if it's a male or even female maybe buddy would be good
Best to you Ryan 👍 always great content
“If you bought an abandoned car, who did you give your money to?” said The Beaver.
3:50 is a 1962 Ford full size
11:47 1966 Ford Fairlane
It looked like a 62 ford
(2:00) 1961 Ford
(4:00) 1962 Ford Galaxy
(11:45) 1965 Ford Fairlane
Deuce an a half
