I like the car and the concept behind it, but the Honda prices got a bit carried away in my opinion…
I had the previous generation, and drove it for work around 30k miles a year, I had an EX and the seats were TERRIBLE!! Probably the worst sciatica I’ve ever had, and horrendous lower back ache after 2 hours driving no matter how hard I tried to get the seat position right….I doubt I’d ever consider another one which is a shame as it was greasy handling
Just to keep things simple, it has a petrol engine but drives like an EV.
It's simple,
Japanese cars will last and last
Frence cars will spend more time in the garage then the road( hence why they are cheap and shyt)
Ford are average.
VW are ok if looked after.

I was amazed to hear that the boot on this thing is bigger than a Golf. You would think a sloping fastback/liftback design would have less volume than the VW's boxy shape. I guess it's deeper rather than taller…?
Honda, I curse you for discontinuing the Civic sedan in India. Do something and make Civic survive in India. Skoda Octavia lives here. Why not you?

Not only is Honda having trouble in shipping these Civics into the UK now theres a few cars which have had known issues with faulty throttle bodies making the car stall and unable to drive, some have been already replaced on new cars before handover to customers at the dealership!!

Costs more than a diesel car. Emmission is almost same as Audi A5.
Car makers should just stop with the piped in sound and simulated DCT gearbox, just stop… It's an economy hybrid… The driving feel fucking sucks by design..just embrace it. It barely uses any fuel and does sub 7 0-60 it's great already and for fun there are cars like miata, Z4, 86, etc..
Atkinson cycle engines have a terrible groan under strong acceleration
the engine setup is based on the Holda Clarity design, which as a complete marvel. The difference is that the clarity was a Plug in hybrid, and the civic is not. Looks great!

This car is beautiful, unlike most new similar cars which are most of the time “over designed”.
