Is that an Alfa Romeo Montreal?
What an insane amount of layers!
At least they did not change the colour of the car when it was repainted
You should make a video about Giugiaro’s designs with Isuzu, the 117 Coupé, Piazza, and Gemini. They are amazingly cool cars that have been almost completely forgotten in the car world. Even most JDM fans don’t even know that Isuzu produced performance cars.
Tell me it’s your car, Matteo, and I’ll be happy for you for a whole year!
The Montreal has the best sounding V8 I've ever heard.
Yes, that is an Alfa Romeo Montréal and you never sandblast any car panel like that… It distorts the metal in the worst way. Hopefully the flaws you clearly see were pre-existing under paint and putty. The other big problem is that the metal must be treated quickly as the blasting friction charges the metal making it prone to rust. Even heavy cast parts can be blemished. The beads can also be impossible to remove in problem areas, with the glass, tail lights and ducts removed… Sad to watch.
