As a S class coupe guy with a 560SEC and previously a C216 you did a great video of the evolution of the S coupe history.
I also saw you this week in Madge near RNSH so what are the chances of that.
It's a shame that the S-class coupe will end after the C217, as to my knowledge, there aren't any new ones planned.

Quite frankly the w215 was at the top of Mercedes game, sleek understated, they nailed it, the subsequent model get drowned into this space shuttle type of curve that make them look like a vauxhall or any other Mazda.
The w215 still looks like a mercedes, and a special 1.
Nowadays you are going to get your modern CL mixed up with a c class diesel.

The 2011 model (updated) styling is by far the best looking. If money was no option I would pick up one of these and take it to Mercedes and have them optimise the drive train and add all the modern tech and features.

Great vid. I still have my 2011 CL500 and it's a real beauty in Barolo Red. It appears to be a rare colour choice as I can only find a few others on the internet! The 2017 Active Curve Tilting is a technology that I had never heard of.
